Might be cozy atmosphere but the food is not even close. Pasta have always been a bunch of mushy noodle swimming in red sauce which has absolutely no tase! True, Not sure why it is rated this high, maybe just for location.

The Food is excellent- Fish, trout and salmon top quality- The salads are exquisite especially the Caesar Salad. Luca is a great server and the restaurant is just beautiful inside. My wife and I love this place! It happens to be the best kept secret in Bethesda.

I arranged a delivery of favorite dishes to my boss for his retirement party. This is his & his wife's favorite restaurant. The charges were complicated but the staff was very patient with me. The delivery was on time and they said the food was perfect!

So we went to Positano to support my husband for his first comedy show ever! We came to see the comedy show this Saturday which had seasoned and new comics. We had a blast! It was a nice crowd and the drinks are good. We will be back we enjoyed this place. They do also make sure is social distancing inside.

Really enjoyed this quaint, chill spot! I went with a few friends to watch a comedy show. The show was from 8-10pm. I thoroughly enjoyed the local comedians! They had 2 pros and 3 newbies! The best one that night was Jamaal Cannon, a newbie! The drinks were delicious! Definitely a great COVID safe date night spot. They have a restaurant attached, as well, but I didn't get a chance to order anything from there. Highly recommend going if you enjoy laughing and doing something different. They have different comedians every Saturday!

Dinner before a comedy show. My first night out since quarantine. Great food, had the Rigatoni with eggplant, rich tomato sauce, manicotti was also a big hit at our table. Then on to the evening entertainment. Funny comics, tables were spaced well. Really enjoyed myself, and plan on going back soon.

I have yet to visit and eat at the restaurant but I've been to comedy night two weekends in a row and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great place to visit if you're looking for something fun to do on a weekend nigh! Very COVID friendly environment.

*The BBC est Italian in Bethesda!!! Due to Covid restrictions, we sat at their outdoor seating. Though it was cold we had the most wonderful dinner! The food was amazing here...and, cheerful Luco who waited on us was great. **My only advice during Covid now that Winter is upon us, to have portable heating for their outdoor dining area..Brrr

We recently held our third private party at Positano Restaurant. As always, the service, food and ambiance were outstanding. Jimmy, the owner, is a delight to work with. He was very understanding and accommodating to our needs. Can’t wait for our next dinner or special event.
