Several items forgotten on our order several different times. Food came quickly and is good but we waited 25 minutes for the check after waiting several times for our items. Eventually had to go find a hostess to check us out and probably paid for items we did not receive.

I had to ask for water repeatedly, I waited 45 minutes after asking for a check to finally pay (the check was wrong the first time), and the nutrition info on their website is out of date (and scary for anyone looking to eat healthy).

I hate unprofessional ppl who take on a job they don't like, first off let me say this the very first time I came to this place we were seated felt welcomed and the food was delicious. This time it was like HELL'S KITCHEN, I don't know if they changed staffed since the last time my best friend and i went for my bday but the employees were TERRIBLE not all but some. When we first walked in it was oh you can seat yourself on the side we recommend to be seated, never gave us a menu just had us find our own way. We set for about 10 mins no one never came to the table to greet themselves or us, no water then it was like over 3 tables that was left dirty that were just sitting around as if the tables were gonna clean itself, the side we we were on anyway to say the least!!!! I guess it was self seated help yourself right? as if they were upset they had to do their own job. As we went to go sit at the bar since we felt unnoticed the server/ bartender ( the little one with a attitude) just set a napkin in front of my best friend without even wiping the area down, once she noticed and said something Ms. Thing was on fire.... She snatched the napkin out of my best friend hands which we didn't understand why because it's your job to clean before you serve anyone, that's what anyone would recommend when you're working for their company professionalism, groomed well, nice attitude, keeping your establishment up to par ..... It's like last night was all HELL, I felt we were treated very unfair and I spoke up about it my friend tacos were cold as if they were just sitting around purposely in the back yet the bartenders never served us another waitress did who wasn't working at the bar. I can go on and on about my night but please check your employees, they didn't know where our standard stands meaning we could've been professional ppl that were hired to review this establishment. Anywhere I eat I want to feel comfortable loved and respected as I give that same energy back!!! Customers not always right yet employees need to be very more professional even if they having a bad day , because I'm paying my hard working money to sit and support you guys business!!!!! I guess you guys lost me as a customer.

Not Sorry!!! This place was a great place at one point when I took my bff for her bday in 2023 but last night was the ABSOLUTE WORSE!!! Im sure management has changed and their employees. The staff is totally different. The service was terrible and the food came out cold and nasty!!! From greeting at the door to not even sitting me and my bf down to the end was unprofessional and the worse customer service ever. Not sure if this was a racist thing but it absolutely gave that because I’m BLACK and at the end they sent the only black server they had (big guy with dreads) to charge us out. The 2 bartenders (one fat one and the other short one with an attitude) at the bar Wednesday 3/20/24 approximately 8pm had bad attitudes did not want to serve me and my bf for what reason not sure. They took forever to come over to see what we wanted, and when the bartender did come over she placed napkins down without even wiping the food off the bar first. I asked her to wipe the bar she snatched the napkins out of my hand. She then had someone else serve us, never checked on us to see if we needed anything. There were other people around us that complained about the service all night and they had to find them just to pay their bill. More staff is definitely needed on a Wednesday night. The manager acted clueless and still did not accommodate us. Those 2 bartenders need to be FIRED they are the worst and treat customers very poorly. I am a CEO of my own company for many years and know what customer service is. MY DOLLAR SPEND JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOLLAR. Keeping those unprofessional bartenders around will definitely lose this business a lot of business in the future. Not knocking Uncle Julio’s in general but I would definitely not recommend this location. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND COMES OFF RACIST!!!!!

Sangria was watered down. Asked for medium steak and got what seemed to be rare steak(very red) on the inside.Went in Sunday night around 8 and got our food around 9. Not sure if they were short staffed or what. Waiter, hostess and manager were nice.

Uncle Julio's in Bethesda has been a longstanding favorite for my wife and me over the years. However, our recent visit left us deeply disappointed. The decline in quality was evident from the moment we stepped in, encountering a less-than-friendly hostess. Unfortunately, the subpar service only compounded our dissatisfaction. To top it off, I experienced food poisoning after our meal, which was truly the last straw. Regrettably, based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Uncle Julio's any longer.
