Went here for lunch because I work nearby and it was a great choice! Even though it's a little pricey (because of location), I got the mac and cheese grilled sandwich (almost like a grilled cheese sandwich) and I was full! It was only $10 (not including tax and tip) and it's a great lunch choice. The restaurant was empty inside but it looks like a great place to go after work hours. There were a couple of people at the bar relaxing but it was dead, otherwise. The bartender was too nice and funny. We were doing an inside joke and she was playing along. Overall, great experience. I would love to go there after work hours and eat while watching a sports game.

WOB is, hands-down, the best place for Happy Hour in Bethesda! They always have a large selection of delicious, new and local beers on tap, and also boast a tasty and creative cocktail menu. Each time I visit, I find my new favorite drink!Their high-end pub food is absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with their beer - highly recommend the German pretzel, Mac and cheese balls and the shrimp street tacos! They even have an equally delicious gluten-free menu.But what really sets this location apart is exceptional customer service. The manager, Brian, and his whole team went above and beyond to accommodate our company's last minute request for a 50-person holiday party, and everything turned out wonderful! Food and drinks were delicious, atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the staff couldn't have been kinder and more attentive. This is a team who obviously cares about and enjoys what they do. Can't wait to come back again soon!Dietary restrictions: They have a new gluten-free menu which is delicious and obviously created with care.

Very welcoming place. Large beer supply from all over the world. The food selection is amazing. The lighting was perfect. They had all the football games on and had drink and appetizer specials. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

Good pub food and an excellent range of draft beers. It's too bad that many of the draft beers are only sold in pint glasses -- I would have preferred less than 16oz. The food is respectable pub food -- tasty but nothing special. The service was outstanding. The server handled our table of 6 adults and 5 (!) kids with aplomb.Vegetarian options: They have impossible burgers.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and unflappable servers.

Bartender was awesome! Been there for 6+ years and knows her beers, the food, and had a constant flow of regulars rolling thru while I was in for lunch. Burger with Mac & Cheese was incredible. Tater tots were nice and crunchy. Beer selection was fantastic. Loved the local focus of the menu. Had a great time and felt like home!

World of Beer is a fantastic place to go after work with your coworkers. It has a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding.The drink menu is incredible with over 500 types of beer. This means everyone can find something they like, and it’s fun to try new beers too.The food is also great. We couldn’t get enough of the Mac and Cheese Bites. They’re crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and we ended up ordering more than one round. The Shrimp Tacos are another winner if you’re looking for something lighter but still tasty.The staff are super friendly and know a lot about beer. They make sure you’re taken care of and help you pick the perfect drink if you’re unsure.Overall, World of Beer has it all: great drinks, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. It’s an excellent choice for a coworker hangout during happy hour.

So there was an awful smell in there but the food was decent lol. The bartender Blue was great and even made a few suggestions for us. My husband got a flight of seasonal fall beer and I got the house mojito which was pretty good. We also got the flat bread pepperoni pizza. It was ok but I wasn't impressed with the sauce. I also got the loaded tator tots which I really liked, they had bacon, cheese, jalapeños, and some sort of sauce on them. The bar was nice and clean, and they have more than enough TVs and beer for you to enjoy football games. They just gotta do something about the smell.

Always a great spot to watch a game and solid bar food. But the manager completely mishandled changing a tv to a different game for one person when there was a group of 10 watching the game and left the waiter to deal with the frustrated customers.

Food & Atmosphere are great!However, the server seemed more interested in the football game on TV than doing his job. Had to ask twice just to get a fork for a salad. Took drink orders that took unnecessarily long given it was Sunday night and by no means busy.Overall, you'll enjoy this establishment!
