This review is for the BJs Tire Center in Bowie, Md. I purchased my tires online, which was an excellent and easy process. I was able to research each tire before deciding on the type I wanted. During the checkout process, I was able to easily schedule a time for tire installation. They're open on Sundays, which is AWESOME and super convenient. My appointment was at 3pm. I arrived promptly at 3 and was greeted immediately by a polite employee. He checked me in, took my key, asked me about wheel locks and then he was off to do the work. At 3:47, the gentleman handed me my wheel lock pack and my car key. It was all done and ready to go! I have a Honda CR-V. Never in all the years I've been going to Honda for service of any kind have I gotten 4 tires installed on any vehicle in less than an hour and my wheel lock handed back to me personally (my wheel lock has been lost by them before, though!). I cannot say enough good things about BJs tire folks. Definitely recommend.

Went for a late lunch and were able to take advantage of the happy hour food and drink specials. Besides the food being really, really good, the happy hour prices were great (mini pizza for $7, Margarita for $6). And our server (Precious) was OUTSTANDING, easily handling a party of 10 with 3 small children. Kudos to her and the rest of the very friendly and accommodating staff.

Every year my BJ's membership fee is automatically deducted from my bank and is sent by bank check to member services. This year, as with other, my payment was forwarded well in advance of the due date only to be cashed and not credited to my account. Money withdrawn from my account on 7/28 but BJ's state they can find no record even though my bank has the endorsement indicating that they cashed the check. Customer service has been unresponsive ignoring many emails and requests to return calls. Today, with the assistance of my bank, we were able to get ahold of the customer service supervisor who was of no assistance as they could not find the payment. During the major cluster, BJ's has suspended my membership and when I asked what could be done about the loss of membership use I was informed that there was nothing that can be done. When I asked for a Manager, this supervisor informed me that she was the supervisor on duty and there was no one they I could be referred to. Angie, Supervisor 09/11/2023 @ 04:20PM EDT.

My family of 4 decided to eat dinner here. What a mistake! Despite the restaurant being practically empty it to about a half hour to receive our meal, the lemonade we ordered had to be sent back because it had a weird rancid taste and to top it off we were charged $113 dollars for someone else’s meal! When we informed the waiter he apologized and tried to fix it while the manager, Tim, looked at us from the corner of the room in between looking at his phone. He never once came over to apologize or attempt to address any concerns or make it right. Instead of perhaps paying us in cash for the difference of the over payment, provide a discount or anything at all were told it would come off then asked us to also pay our original bill! Both of which are showing up as being taken out of my account! Now I have to call the bank to dispute the charge. It is unfortunate that mismanagement can run a good business into the ground. This use to be a pretty good restaurant. I would suggest that anyone looking for good service and excellent food go elsewhere.

Was hassled to join inspire energy the last time I went to this BJ's. I usually place my orders online for pick up but decided to visit the store myself this time. Absolutely regret it. Maybe it's just me but i like to shop in peace. I informed the sales man that I wasn't interested more than once and still was pulled into conversation.

Went in store early afternoon, surprisingly it wasn't crowded and very large selection.

Our group of five stopped in for lunch at opening time. The place was empty so we got good service in short order. I had the chicken fingers and they were hot and crispy. Do check them out.

The place was not very crowded but it took forever for us to get our food and drinks; I think there was only one cook in the kitchen. It also seems like our server was inexperienced, not trained properly, or should get another job. California Club flatbread, Poke bowl, and Buffalo wings were all excellent. No surprise that they have a huge selection of beers but they also had an above average wine list (no one I know offers Freakshow Cab by the glass).

My husband and I went at 4 pm on a Thursday - not a terribly busy time. He ordered pork chops, I ordered the new deep dish 6" pizza. Pointed to it on the menu when I ordered it. Waited about 20 minutes for food and when it showed up - surprise! - the pizza was the 11" shareable. I pointed out the problem and was told first that I should have used the magic word "mini" but that they would remake it (so that his food would be cold and we would have waited almost an hour for food). I explained why that wasn't a good option and said that taking cold leftover pizza home wasn't an option - not only is it not appetizing, I wouldn't be home for a few days and it's not on his diet. Ate part of two slices. I have to admit, based on my experiences with other BJ's, that I expected to be charged for the 6", not the 11". Seems that's not the way they work here. You get the wrong order, you pay for it. It's probably good for their profit margin, but not for building customer loyalty. I stopped at the front on the way out to say how upset I was. The answer was, gee, we're really sorry (but we're keeping your $21). Caveat emptor. Please do learn from my mistake in going here. I certainly have.

This was the worst! I was advised my order will be ready at 7:00pm for pickup. At 7 pm a staff person came out to my car and advised it will be 5 to 10 more minutes which ended up being 20. They gave no salad dressing for the salad. We asked for extra sauce in the baked Ziti but got a lot of grease with no sauce. We had to add our own marinara sauce after we got home. We order a shrimp scampi with penne pasta, the pasta was extremely overcooked to the point of being mushy. The dinner roll was dumped in the pasta and was a mushy mess by the time we got home. The butter sauce was tasteless. The blacken salmon was a small slice, the rice was not even a serving and the broccoli had no flavor. I spent almost $80 for inedible food. During this pandemic service has suffered, meals are not what you paid for and everything is higher in price. I will never order from this restaurant again and I certainly will not advise anyone to either.

Went there for dinner. Shelby was a fantastic order taker but didn't inquire as to how things were. I had to signal him a couple of times. The woman who brought out our food seemed to have a slight attitude when I could understand what she was saying when she brought out our salads which came before the appetizer. Raspberry Rose Rita is a great drink. Hubby liked the Nit Wit beer. Boneless wings with root beer sauce was delicious! BBQ rack of ribs were good but did not fall off the bone like hubby has had in other restaurants. I had the Tri tip steak & shrimp scampi combo, shrimps were good but the steak was a little touch and quite small.

I am not sure why I returned as service has been sketchy for a while. It was simply a midpoint meet-up for my buddy and me for a beer and late-night wings. I sat down at a booth in the bar and waited...and waited...and waited. My buddy joined me after 20 minutes or so...that's when the first acknowledgement was made. This amplified my concern that perhaps there was a racial component to being ignored, as I am a middle-aged white male and was clearly in the minority in the clientele. Perhaps I was wrong as my dear friend is African-American and although the waiter finally acknowledged there was someone sitting there it was not until my friend approached the manager that the waiter eventually approached the table. That was at just over 45 minutes after I arrived. 10 minutes later our drink orders had not arrived and so we left for far better service at Applebee's. It is not as though the staff was overworked. The manager was in the corner by the door and was joking with employees. The waiter had plenty of time to socialize with guests and fellow staff. The waitress assigned to the dining area had only 2 tables and could have caught up the slack if our waiter was overwhelmed. So... terrible experience. I have done hundreds of reviews and I can count the number of 1 stars on 1 hand. Never going back.

NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN! bought tires online, scheduled my service for next day at this location because they didn't have any appointments available at my local BJs. Drove 45 minutes, and dropped my Baby off at the babysitter to have this done thinking i wouldn't run into a problem. Get here The office is empty I had to call for them to have someone come into The office to let them know that I was here for my appointment. The tire center has no idea, and tells me my tires aren't even in stock I asked him to check to see if other locations do have them he told me to go to the service desk and ask for the manager. I walk inside and immediately the service desk clerk Sherri was so rude to me. The manager Shay was walking by and says there's the manager right there like I'm supposed to know who the manager is. As greeting Shay she already has a terrible attitude and doesn't want to deal with anything. She was so disrespectful, and unsympathetic for the issue. SHAY HAS NO BUSINESS HAVING THE ROLE OF MANAGEMENT. they need to do a more through evaluation of who they put in charge of their stores! It's now 2 1/2 hours later and I'm just now leaving the store with no tires and no information on where I can go get my tires from a different BJ's location. *UPDATE!!! I'm glade I received shitty customer service! Bjs lost $505 dollars today & saved me $162 by losing my business so thanks!

I no longer frequent this location, however I wanted to leave a review for this location to spotlight Malik who works in the tire center. He ended his lunch break early to help with putting air in my tires. I want to note that the air pump was malfunctioning and did not have a sign on it that it was not operating. This BJ's location seems to always have issues due to low staff. Malik should be commended for his service.
