I came here and purchased food before work. The food was great, real authentic. You can taste the spices. It's truly a slice of home. I would recommend to anyone. 5 STAR food. I ordered a Curry Goat Roti it's was to Die for and I got some Oxtails with Rice and Peas and cabbage my boss loved it.

I called to confirm the soup was ready, and after a pleasant greeting (business name, name, good morning), I was told the amount of time for it to be complete. When I got to the counter, I was greeted and the young lady was very nice. The food ...AWESOME! I didn't have my mom's home made (from TnT) soup but even had mom saying she enjoys it and would certainly get it again (when we don't have moms). :-) The jerk chicken patty is also yummy. I have not doubt that the curry chicken and beef patties are yummy as well.

The flavor of the food we had was very good. As we approached the cashier Christina, she was on her phone. We greeted her and she acted like we were interrupting her screen time. She was so nonchalant in her demeanor when taking the order. She informed of the wait time in we accepted and assured her we would be back after our visit to the store next door. When we returned from the store, my husband inquired with the cashier about the status of our meal in which the cook gave him a dirty look while the cashier informed him it going to be a little longer. A fellow customer upon her exit for told us this goes on too often, don't accept their awful behavior. The only thing good about the place is the food. For this establishment for around for only 9 months, we you the best in the future, but the demeanor and needs to change immediately. As of writing this review we have been waiting for 59 minutes when we were told it would take only 30.

I've ordered several times and really enjoyed the patties, oxtail, stew and curry chicken dishes. Today I wanted to try the roti. That one is a miss unfortunately. The roti skin was too thick, bread-like. For me, the skin is supposed to be the star. If the skin is not right...I'll stick to the other dishes moving forward until they get the roti skin right.

My parents are Jamaican and run their own Jamaican restaurant, so I can be very biased/picky about Jamaican food. When I tell you the first bite of D&G's jerk chicken and mac & cheese had me dancing! The food is so delicious, the portions are wonderful, the restaurant is clean, and the service is easy and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Yall... I wanted to like this place so badly. I ordered the jerk chicken lunch which came with two sides. I selected plantains and Mac and cheese. It arrived with ONE PIECE of plantain and an overload of Mac and cheese. Make it make sense?! The jerk chicken seemed baked and could do with a bit more seasoning. Pardon the half ate chicken in the photo - but check out the lonely ONE piece of plantain.

I will never understand why Black women think that when representing a reputable business it is professional to be disrespectful to those that patron this restaurant. Keep your nasty comments and thoughts to yourself. It is unfortunate that this treatment of Black men is so common place in 2024.

Are here a few weeks ago. Service was great! The young lady saw I had been waiting for my food for a little while, so she comp’d me beef patties. Jerk chicken and plaintains were good, rice and peas a little dry. But I’ll be back!
