I tried East Moon again and was so disappointed and disgusted to find a slider in my chicken dish. Just gross. I will never order again.

Worse Chinese food ever. We gave it a chance 3 times because we really wanted to like it, but it's just not good. :(

I found this place because i was in the area the customer service was actually nice for an asian restaurant and the food tasted great until i stumbled upon a little green worm in my rice.. Food is trash now

This is our favorite spot to get sushi and great Chinese food, ONLY if you’re dining IN. We’ve ordered it via delivery several times and dined in a handful of times. Totally different experiences.Dining in: Obviously fresher and the food comes out piping hot. The entrees that are supposed to be crispy, are crispy. The soft entrees are flavored and hot. The food comes out quick and looks as great as it tastes. I believe that portions are even larger in person! Definitely an awesome spot to eat! Never crowded and never slow! Plus great drinks! The selections inside are always much more varied in person.Delivery: This spot is definitely one of the fastest places to get delivery from, I have to credit that. The food is fresh but it’s all soft. The containers cause that, probably no way to avoid it, but I think the food loses some of its greatness getting mushy. The chicken entrees all taste a little more meh, when they’re mushy. I never order the Sweet & Sour chicken via delivery anymore because they pack the container with big chunks of green peppers and pineapples. So there is definitely less chicken. For the prices you pay for the foods, go eat it in person and enjoy it. The portions and impact on the food from packing it, isn’t worth the delivery.Still 5 stars to them because it’s the best locally, in person.(Bummed I didn’t get a picture of the General Tsao’s chicken last time, it was SO GOOD!)

Every time my 9 year old and I come here for a lunch date or dinner, this place never disappoints even my son said it. Tonight we had two orders of shrimp tempura sushi , avocado roll & black dragon roll . Also enjoyed the crispy chicken lettuce wraps. To end with a fried ice cream. Everything was phenomenal 10/10

Excellent and quick service, beautifully decorated restaurant, and great quality food—it’s fresh and delicious, and they have an extensive menu (including vegetarian options too)! Would definitely recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back with the fam.

Since 2016 I've had this place rated as five stars however they have really declined in quality. My friend and I both are feeling funny tummies after eating leftovers from just last night. Also we only ordered three entries for carryout, direct via the phone, and it was $53. I still tipped and what not, but it just seems quite expensive, and now we both feel sick so I can't consider the possibility that they are using fresh ingredients.

So this place is in between Dunkin' Donuts and Texas Roadhouse, so I can see why it is overshadowed to appear mediocre,,, but wow, the food was near perfect. I had the Tokyo tuna sushi which was fresh and neatly prepared. My wife and her cousin had general tso chicken which was perfectly fried with a nice crunch to it and flavored with tso sauce which was not overly drenched like most places do. They also had chicken teriyaki meal that was pretty good too. My only take away is the place seemed closed on a Saturday, but when you walk in, the place had a life to it!

I’d say that the one stars here are the anomaly. I go to Asian restaurants a lot, all over US. For the service, for sushi, for the price, their ridiculously cheap drink specials. I’ll give this place a 5 star. Sushi wise it’s better than most of the DC hot spots I’ve been to. I highly recommend the Kitty roll

The sushi is good but the beef and broccoli is disgusting. The meat is very very clearly frost bitten and I've ordered it twice once when they first opened then a couple of weeks ago. We just ordered again because they're literally the only Asian food place that delivers around here and 2 of the 3 dishes were bland / dry. the last one was average.

This is the absolute worse Asian food I've ever had, and I've had a lot. I arrived early for lunch and they gave me one order of day-old spring rolls that had turned brown (inside and out) and was completely saturated in oil. The other spring roll order was freshly made, but was really greasy. I also ordered a vegetable dish that was drenched in a watery sauce. The green peppers on the dish had large rotten spots and the onions were old with black and brown edges. I had another order of fried rice and vegetables, but the rice was drenched in soy sauce or some other brown sauce. Could not even taste the rice.

The steak and chicken was well prepared. Spacious with tables well spaced. There were less crowd. The waiters appeared neatly dressed. Restaurant cleanliness is very important to me, I liked the clean air in there and the neat environment.
