My family used to be big fans of OTB in Bowie. It became a tradition for us to eat there whenever my daughter came home from college -- and to celebrate other family events. The food was good, the chips and queso great and the service hit-or-miss. We had a really bad experience there several months ago (after a string of so-so meals) and asked to speak to the manager. We didn't want anything free, we just wanted to share our concerns. He was awful and disinterested. We

Good service. I enjoyed the complementary chips and salsa, but the actual entree was just okay. I received my taco (the entree) and the cheese inside was cold, no where close to being melted.

This is the one place that I can eat weekend after weekend. The chips and salsa are my favorite appetizer and the fajita chicken and steak quesadilla is just fantastic! We get seated quickly and the server is usually quick to come over. Restaurant is clean, but I wish they would add some better tvs/ programming at the bar. They also accommodate special requests for margaritas which is even better!!!!
Not the greatest experience, although the manager was quite nice and accommodating. I'm not sure if they are in a transition or short staffed or what but we likely won't be back.

We ordered a pint of salsa, chips and queso to go and it took 38 minutes. We had to ask why he was charging us $3.99 for 3 flour tortillas which would have cost us $20 for 12. He had the price wrong. If we would have known such a simple order was going to take 38 minutes, we would have left. While we were sitting there waiting, we watched a family of 12 come in and they were told it would be at least 30 minutes to be seated. The patron pointed out available tables and the manager said they couldn't sit them bc they were short with servers so they left. I love the food at On the Border but the servers act like they are being forced to work there and the bartender looked like he just got out of bed. All it takes is ja friendly smile and that would help. Every single time we try this location, the service is awful. We are going to Riconsitas to get our fajitas. If we didn't leave, we would have waited hours. It's too bad as we really like the food but not going to spend our hard earned money with a company who does not care about their clientele.

I ordered to-go and a young man answered the phone at first. He was very nice but then he wanted me to wait for the bartender who never answered the phone. So I hung up and called back and she finally answered. Once she did she had a horrible attitude which got on my nerves. (I already hate ordering online because everyone acts like you are bothering them) so after finally getting my order in I went to pick the food up and I was greeted after about a minute. I was sent to the bar to get to-go orders. The bartender came by didn't say anything to anyone over there and after about 5 minutes and leaving back and forth she finally asked was I picking up and took my card. She gave me the food and I went on about my day. For the quality of this food they need to work on customer service. My food was amazing but her stank attitude left a bad taste in my mouth.

Received a warm welcome , the entire staff was pleasant and inviting. Big shoutout to the bartender Karissa , my waiter Jose, and the General Manager Mr. Effiom. The service was prompt and accurate, the food was good. I had a great time!

This place is normally me and my husbands to go place because we love the Margaritas here!! When me and my husband walked in we were not greeted then when we sat at the bar the server who I believed name was Al could not speak he just TOSSED the menus toward us with NO greeting!!! My husband asked for the area where we sat to be wiped down but it took for the manager to come over and wipe it we waited almost thirty minutes to be given our chips and salsa. We order our drinks through the manger as well as our food. We were never given silverware for our food we had to eat with our hands. Our food was not nachos or something that required us to use our hands. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT THIS RESTAURANT!!!
