I frequently visit the Safeway in Fairwood. I've noticed lately that there is usually only one cashier and some of the self check out machines are closed. Are you all hiring? Why is there only one cashier? Today I visited the store at noon, same thing one cashier and it look me about 40mins to get out of line because your self check out was so backed up and the ONE cashier line you had was backed up. People were coming into the one open cashier lane asking to get in front of other people because they only had one item and both lines were backed up.

Today, I visited the seafood dept to purchase a few pounds of cluster crab legs. After my purchase I asked the woman whose name begins with a T if she had dungeness crabs. She pointed to the clusters and said those were dungeness. I corrected her and pointed to the sign that read cluster. She said well we call those dungeness and if it's not we don't have any. I was trying to get gas at this Safeway gas station and let me just say it was the worst experience ever. I understood the one person in the building but she also helped two other people that came after me. I asked if the pump I was using number 8 and she just took a long pause, stared at me, stared at my car & said 10 I was confused but I caught on i just don't understand why she was being so hostile and beyond rude. I got a long ride back home, I wanted to be able to fill my tank get something cool to drink before hitting the road. The customer service was real nasty never going back!!!

Today is "cheap chicken" Monday however I will not go to this store. Last week, the chicken pieces were so small it seem the pieces were cut in half. The cost has increased also, which was not the issue in today's market. Very disappointed.

We came here last night because we were looking for a brisket flat. We weren't hopeful because the other location didn't have a lot of options left on the shelves in the meat department. We were pleasantly surprised to find what we were looking for so late at night.

The employees at the Safeway are wonderful and the selection is good. But it's always dirty. The floors are always sticky and the entryway is always dirty. Please clean this location regularly and pick up the trash in the parking lot. I really want to continue to support this store.

FOR GAS STATION ONLY! I actually like the grocery store. I know where everything is at and I can usually find what I need. Lately I've been going to Lidl, but I still like Safeway for the things they don't have.What is frustrating to me is the Gas Station. I don't know why, but even when I don't have savings from shopping at Safeway I still gas up here. But 80% of the time I CANNOT get my receipt at the pump. I don't know what's so hard about replacing the paper at the pumps. I like to pay at the pump and print my receipt to track fuel. WHY can't I get my receipt at the pump?!
