The family and I have been to Slim Chickens a number of times. The staff is extremely courthouse and friendly. We even had the manager come by our table once just to check on us to make sure everything was ok. The inside of the restaurant is very nice with lots of seating. They have a pretty extensive menu and my wife and I love their Slim's Salad. Our girls (8 and 11) who normally get chicken tenders have come across one of two over breaded and/or soggy pieces on our initial visits but have not had any issues since. They have a very wide variety of sauces for their sandwiches/tenders plus a number of menu items that you might find at Chick-fil-a. Overall if you were looking for a little variety, I would recommend checking them out.

Unfortunately , this was my first time ordering food at this establishment. The first impression was disappointing. I paid $18 for chicken that was "very Good"...but SALTY. Possibly it was me ( i have cut down eating lots of salt for health reasons)....but after 3 tenders , the saltiness was noticable......the fries were ok.......the Texas Toast was regular white bread toasted.......the potatoes salad was tossed in the trash can , after 4 bites........the Orange Crush soda , with no ice was carbonated water , with a dash of orange flavor.... VERY disappointing...I was trying to try the place out , before buying for my mother....she loves fried chicken......... UNFORTUNATELY......NOT HERE !I can't honestly give this place a good review....and don't think that I WILL return.Dietary restrictions: If You have high blood pressure..... forget about the chicken.

I do not recommend this restaurant.This was our first visit to any Slim Chickens. We got curbside pickup and actually ordered from the parking lot. The food was mostly good. Everything could have been hotter (temperature).We have never had fried okra. I have no interest in having it again. The breading was bland and the okra inside tasted very grassy.The chicken sandwich was good. It has a proper amount of sauce on it and was as ordered.The mushrooms were good. We could tell they were freshly breaded, but I would have liked to have the sauce with them that I ordered. None arrived. We were in a hurry, this the curbside pickup, so we did not take time to check our order before leaving.The macaroni and cheese was a bit overcooked and .....hard to eat. No utensils were included with our order. We did not overlook them. We were quite thorough.The sauce on the chicken wings was good, honey bard be que, but there was WWWAAAYYY too little. One only had a few drops on it. The others were not fully covered and there was almost no extra sauce in the container. I am not exaggerating. I don't know if they were trying to save money or ran out of that flavor or what.The chicken tenders were as ordered and they were actual tenders. Too often places call chicken strips (slices of breast meat) chicken tenders, but there were freshly breaded and did not need any sauce.We were shorted 2 sauces from the order, but everything we DID get was right.I hope this was a rare fluke, but I see no reason to return.....at least not to this location.Also, it was not busy. I almost went through the drive through but changed the order to curbside pickup, for no particular reason.Check your orders before leaving!

First visit was Sat & went back Wednesday for more. I ordered the 5 wings/5 tenders combo. The wings were nasty. They taste like they were under cooked. I couldn't eat them. I ordered all flats & they gave drummers & flats! DisappointmentThe tenders were delighted! Fries were good.2nd visit I wanted to try the crispy Cobb salad but they have limited salad dressing so I passed & got tenders only this time.Drive thru line was pretty slow, customer service was OK. Food was worth the wait.Will return again.
