My Grubhub order was frustratingly delayed, and upon receiving it, I was thoroughly disappointed. The waffle lacked the advertised toppings and had concerning brown/black specks, suggesting a potential cleanliness issue with the waffle iron. The smoothie bowl was disappointingly small, resembling a child-sized portion, the fruit toppings were not fresh and the bowl was melted. Ultimately, I had to discard the entire order due to the unsatisfactory quality.

I FINALLY TASTED A SMOOTHIE THAT I LOVE!! I DIDNT taste any preservatives, additives, etc. AND they showed me the bag of fresh fruit before it hit the blender. That’s not normal practice but I was being inquisitive and they were informing me of what’s included. I had the Bowie. I’m a happy camper and have a new go to! DID I mention they give you large smoothie straws too. No more struggles to consume a smoothie. THANK. YOU.The atmosphere is inviting too with all things PG county, merch, seating areas, and cool music. I’ll be back for sure.

My husband and I love it here! Best smoothies and the jackfruit patties are amazing! We need healthier options in this area and this place exceeds expectations. I prefer to spend my money here than at Taco Bell or Tropical smoothie (the load your smoothies with sugar) any other place that is just feeding you poison and it finishes costing you more when you see your medical bill. Great smoothies and staff. The food is a great value and also delivers on flavor. The ambiance is quick for grab and go but I'm not one to sit and hang out in a smoothie shop. Best in the area. Definitely check it out.

When I found out they were vegan I knew I wanted to try them. Today I went here after my workout and I'm glad I did. The smoothie was blended really well and I tried the chickpea and lentils Patty and that Patty was nothing but the truth. Both the smoothie and Patty had sooo much flavors. I will definitely recommend this to a lot of people especially my friend who is vegan. The customer service was amazing and I see that they honor small businesses on the weekends It's also very near and clean in here too.

I love me a black owned business ! I’ve ordered a few different items during my 5 visits to this store. Pitaya bowls are amazing, super tasty and filling but overpriced for the size.Waffle was perfectly cooked and the pecans gave it a nice crunch. Ordered a Spinach patty once and it was a one and done as it was completely over cooked.
Great place for smoothies and food named after PGC towns/cities.The Oxon Hill smoothie and District Heights Toast was so good and is super comparable to Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lower prices.

I was really in the mood for nice açaí bowl. It's my thing right right now. I so wanted this black owned spot to be my go to spot because I'd prefer to support black businesses. At the moment, my go to spot for awesome açaí bowls is not a black owned business. Let me say that the employees at Spizzy's were great, customer service was excellent and they're friendly! If my açaí bowl was the same, this review would be a 5. However, despite their great service, the product (açaí bowl) left much to be desired. I'm only writing this hoping that they see this and improve on the product because I'm rooting for them. Really! So getting into my review, the actual smoothie wasn't firm enough. It was too loose for a bowl. By the time I got in my car and dug in, it was melting all over. Additionally, the granola seemed like it was just a granola bar that had been broken up. This needed a quality granola. I had to remove all of the granola bar because I'm not a fan of granola bars. So this was disappointing because I love the crunch that granola adds to açaí bowls. The fruit and peanut butter was ok but the size of the bowl could have been more substantial for the price. Overall, the bowl may have been a 3 out of 5. I gave this entire review a 4 though because of how friendly they are. The base smoothie is so important and it just didn't hold up. If the base isn't right, it's all downhill from there. Just my opinion. Hopefully, Spizzy will make some tweaks and improve their bowls. HOWEVER, despite this not being my favorite spot for a bowl, I'd definitely come back to try other things. Loved the vibe, the friendliness, and it's locally owned with healthy options.

I plan on SHEIN every smoothie that they offer eventually I just enjoy the fact that it's a small business and they offer quality smoothies with great customer service as well.
