The food was fantastic. The jerk sauce and the garlic aoli were so delicious. My family really enjoyed it. The tenders were so good. Nice flavor and crispy.

I was stoked to try this place, so I’m sad to not give it five stars. The food was mostly fine- fries were tasty and I liked the mushrooms on my sandwich. The sweet potato stew was not very exciting, and the chickpeas in it were still pretty hard. But I placed an order (at 7:03pm) for pickup at 7:30. I got there at 7:30 and didn’t get my food until 7:50. It wasn’t slammed, just a few other people waiting for orders. I think one person ordered at the counter while I was there. I also got the wrong sandwich, but after waiting 45 minutes it didn’t seem worth it to get it fixed!

I sat through an hour of traffic to come to this spot on a friday evening with my family and when I get here at 7:20 PM, I was told that although they usually close at 8, this particular Friday evening they had decided to close early. The associate wouldn't tell me what time they had decided to shut down or why on this random day they hours had changed. I am so disappointed and was very excited to try this spot but based off this terrible experience, I doubt I'll be back.

I try to come here every weekend or every other weekend! The food is amazing, fresh and made with love. I always get the Caribbean Bowl, I replace the corn with extra arugula, and my heart melts each time. The jerk mushrooms does it for me ever. Single. Time. I love It here!

As a plant based individual it's really hard to find top quality vegan food that doesn't have soy or other meat substitutes as the main ingredient. So I was very happy to come across Mush on Instagram and was even more excited to try their brunch options on this Sunday. Upon arrival, we stood behind a group of women who appeared to be in the business of promoting the restaurant as they began taking pictures as they ordered food and gazed the menu. They continued this behavior for 3-5minutes when I politely asked if they were ordering because I was ready to order. They let me go ahead of them when I ordered my breakfast platter, paid and went to browse the other store and restaurant options (bought some seamoss from the corner store in the mixfoodhall 10/10 experience). As someone who fries my own oyster mushrooms, make my own French toast and home fries, I expected a 10-15 minute wait time from ordering. Ordered at 2:26pm and the food wasn't ready until after 3:05pm. However, the group of ladies who ordered after me food was bagged and given to them just before my order was completed. The owners stated they prioritized the group of ladies' order because they "paid them for promo." As a paying customer who's actually plant based, I was quite offended and my anxiety was shot through the roof. Is it wise to prioritize people you are paying to be there over a paying customer who could potentially return and recommend the option to vegan friends if they have a positive experience? The girls probably weren't even plant based truly, would leave there and go get some salmon, grits and lamb chops from a real brunch spot. Long story short, I won't be returning. The food was good but wasn't worth the wait. The scramble was ok, didn't resemble eggs at all and tasted like mashed beans with turmeric. The oyster mushrooms were good but fried so long the only "meat" was in the stems. Most of the home fries were burnt. French toast was tasty but again not worth the wait. Mush had the least appealing ambiance in the food hall and that's including the workers. They looked like they just rolled out of bed and into work. I'm black and try to support black owned businesses, but this won't be one of them moving forward. As you can see from my pictures $23 for a half eaten plate. You do the math.

I love this place! I've tried nearly everything except the lentils and the bowls. If you're looking for a wet sandwich, try the cheesesteak using portobello mushrooms. The spiced fries are excellent and have a nice kick. I regularly make vegan collard greens but I like their take as well--they're cooked in a sort of coconut curry. Very well seasoned and gives a different take. My favorite sandwich is the Banh Mi. They give you a good portion of fried oyster mushrooms on the sandwich and the sauce is so flavorful. I've also had the jerk, which is a solid sandwich just not as good as the Banh Mi in my opinion. Staff is friendly. Orders usually take 15-20 minutes. I like that it's casual and in a food hall. There's a bar there if you'd like alcoholic drinks and they have a good happy hour.

The fried oyster mush were great but the greetings not so much . When I think of collard greens I want them to have some "bite" and texture.

Honestly I’m writing the review because this place has me driving EVERYWHERE and they are in NEITHER PLACE!Your sign in Brentwood says “you moved” somewhere in hyattsville, now I’m here and you’re not!! You have this angry vegan pregnant woman trying to get help and directions and yall can’t answer a phone. That’s why you get one star. Update your info! This all feels so misleading now.

I would place a zero star but it does not exist. The challenge was it was tasteless, and very, very greasy sandwich. Avoid it if you visit the establishment. Shocking, considering it's advertising vegan dishes. Greasy

My Hubby in the background as I’m typing this keeps saying It was very very very delicious. ?And he’s only telling the truth. Where do I begin?Today on a snowy day was perfect BECAUSE I know the lines are out the door! The MushandCheese was spectacular and the fries were incredible. I can only speak to my sandwich but my Hubby who devoured the Jerk BBQ sandwich… let’s just say it was gone in seconds. Can’t wait to return and please do yourself a favor… no… a TREAT and Go!

Mush is a hidden gem! The good was delish! I went with my friend, that's vegan. It was absolutely no accident that I ate mushrooms for the 1st time! Go Get You Some!

Don't get scared by the prices. Vegan food is not cheap, especially if it's fresh ingredients, and when I tell you this is fresh? He seasoned, breaded, and fried the mushrooms in front of us. That's fresh!! Portions are large; 3 of us shared 1 side of fries, and with the sandwich size, it was enough. No beverages; you would need to buy at the booth next to Mush; it's like a bar or at the convenience store. This is located Inside the miXt Food Hall. Drive pass it on Rhode Island ave (Rt 1) make a right into 39th St, and you will see the free parking garage entrance to your right.
