Ordered for the first time today for lunch. I got the smothered pork chop lunch entree with sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be frequenting more and trying out other items!

I had no idea that it would be SOOOO good! Everything was very tasty and finger licking good! We had a group and we ordered various things but the j*** chicken and curried goat were my faves… all the greens and rice and peas. Literally everything was amazing!!! Can’t wait to have them again.

I just went there and got ribs, shrimp, macaroni, collard greens, and potato salad. Everything was AMAZING! Prices are great. Quality and quantity everything was amazing.

I got the shrimp curry, sweet potatoes and Mac n cheese and everything was delicious ?. The flavors/seasoning was definitely on point. I had to call the husband and tell him about my experience. Me and my boyfriend visited this place on Sept 22 our first time in Baltimore from WV there for a concert and found this place online because we wanted some soul food and when I tell you the vibes and food was amazing ! They were nice and the chef knows what he is doing back in that kitchen. That fried shrimp was the best shrimp I ever had highly recommended also the Mac and cheese , greens, baked chicken , and catfish all was amazing and that cornbread , wish I woulda ordered so much more to bring home but yeah go see them. Great place to go if you are in the area

I had it yesterday..I don't like Canned Sweet potatoes and Canned Green Beans..Turkey wings weren't done and too Peppery..Peach Cobbler was Good tho.

i wish they had zero stars. please do not order the mashed potatoes or mac & cheese i got the j*** chicken it was good but the mashed potatoes were greasy and disgusting literally had oli all around it and the mac & cheese was greasy to and salty i wasted my money please do not do the same!!!
Wow! Simply the best. Visiting from Cali, here before going to an Earth Wind & Fire concert. The dinner was so Delish, the hospitality was a perfect 10. Omg the food, :-) Having eaten all over the world this I must say is right there in my top 2, Mother's cooking is always the best in our hearts but this is a very close 2nd. If and when you are in the DC area this eatery is a MUST! Thanks again to the entire staff and cooks. Cali in yo house. The SC.

We are visiting from California and stopped by this quaint little restaurant and enjoyed Freshly prepared Fried catfish, cheesesteak sandwich, mac and cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, grilled catfish, catfish nuggets, cornbread, all so delicious!! We ate before thinking of taking photos LOL

The turkeys wings were extremely dry! The cabbage was salty. This was so disappointing! The only thing I ate that was good was the cornbread. Waste my money. ?

Placed an online order at 2:52, it was scheduled to be ready at 3:15. By the time I went to the counter the young lady told me she just received the order and it hasn't been sent to the kitchen, yet. She told me it would be 25-30mins because everything is made fresh. Over 45mins later my food was still not ready. Numerous people came in and had been waiting for almost an hour. After I received my food and looked at my order, my greens were cold. Chicken unseasoned and overcooked. Hopefully this was a one-off for them.
