“Jamie is an absolute pleasure as a server. Friendly, articulate and professional. The food is great. We had steamed shrimp with onion and taters, crab cake and scallops, and crab imperial and not a complaint on anything. We're already planning our next trip to SCI.“
“I stopped by yesterday after leaving the vet with my dog and my mom. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the very friendly staff. The cinnamon roll, confetti muffin, and iced coffee were great! My dog was also given a pup cup. I'm really excited for the weather to warm up so I can sit outside and enjoy their patio space. I can see myself stopping by more often in the future.“
“I went here on a Sunday around 3:30 and there was a small crowd. We were able to get our items quickly after we ordered though it took a little while to order. There is a window that you order from and there is one cashier to take the order. The customer service was great. I was able to try the ice cone flavors. There were so many flavors and combination of flavors to choose from. They also had other treats like benigets, brownies, and cakes. They had Takhara brothers ice cream and I'm a huge fan of their ice cream, so I was excited to get the key lime, but it head run out. The clerk offered me other options and told me about the mango, guava, pineapple ice topped with fruit, so I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did. It was really flavorful and refreshing. There was cute outdoor seating that was well maintained. I will most definitely come back here.“
“I’m not sure where to start but this place has really good tacos. I never thought I’d say someone has better tacos in Baltimore than Clavel but here we are.Taco to taco go on a Friday most places even tacos in Mexico have a hard time comparing to this. Ordered birria, tinga pollo and asada. Hands down delicious best tacos with hand made blue corn tortillas.Bonus is they also have churros!!!! All they are missing is being BYOB or selling drinks.“
“Cute corner store with lots of substance ! Full of plants, collectibles, figures and more. The owners are too kind and will offer tea ID it’s brewing. They gave me multiple cups of the ginger tea and it’s really ginger innit!I got the coffee brushed shake and it was incredible, so many ingredient and great texture. Good coffee too. You May consider it kinda pricey but they’re definitely loaded with good ingredients and love. Worth it. Will be coming back and recommending“
“Guy was really cool, food was great. I was really impressed that the mango and pineapple were real chopped fruit and not canned. Fish was fresh too and it was reasonably priced. If you’re in this part of Maryland and want a poke bowl this is a good spot.“
“super amazing experience from the second i walked in the door till i left. was met with a very friendly and attentive host who instantly made me feel like i was at home. food was amazing. the margarita pizza was to die for for and again, the atmosphere made everything taste that much better. you can tell they are extremely intentional with everything they do. will definitely be back!“
“I had channa saag and roti and it was a large portion size. The roti was very nice and dry, just the way I had asked for it and the food was not oily. It was delicious. The service was quick, the owner and other staff were very friendly and the atmosphere there was cool. I'm sure the rest of the food must be just as good.“
“WOW! Just WOW! First time here and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. But those DOUGHNUTS! OMG...you're missing out if you haven't experienced the deliciousness! Excited to try the breakfast options too! Highly recommend the Unicorn Farts, Panty Dropper, and Berry Cheescake....honestly ALL of them! ??“
“This was my first time coming to the new location. I had been to the other spot they had before a while back but didn't really remember it. This one was easy to locate right off the highway in an industrial area. There was plenty of street parking as well as parking on the side in the lot they share with neighboring businesses. I would assume the other businesses are closed during evening hours since there was so much parking available. The inside was very spacious with plenty of open seating. Came in on a Thursday night that meet a couple of coworkers and it wasn't crowded. They do serve food but the menu is limited. I think all of their beers are brewed in house. Some and great and some are a little weird. They will allow you to have small samples before you order a full sized glass. I say try a few until you find one you like. They have trivia nights and other special events so check out their website.“
“How could you not love the oven bird nestled on a residential block in Baltimore's little Italy? Ovenbird specializes in mouthwatering, pastries and excellent breads. In fact, the ham and grower cheese croissant I had here was a recent favorite. But I for the desserts they only have two tables, but get them to go if you can I hoard them like little treasures. Long live the oven bird.“
“Very quaint, privately owned ice cream shop. If you like soft serve, you have got to check this place out. Although they've apparently been there since 2017, I just recently came across this place. They have so many flavors of soft serve. I tried the peppermint and it was amazing! It was a subtle flavor, not too bold. They have a small amount of outdoor seating and are located directly across from Patterson Park. I watched a young man saunter up with his "leashed" dog place an order at the outside window. He got his order, sat on a bench, placed one dish on the ground for his dog, and began eating his. It was adorable and must be a regular occurrence because the medium sized dog began eating his pretty eloquently; obviously has had practice!Parking: Residential area with many places to park.“
“I got there about 9am on Sunday, there was already a line at least ten deep. However, the atmosphere was great inside and out in line. The pastry was delicious we got an assortment. The chai tea was just not pungent enough . Otherwise it was my first and hope not my lastVegetarian options: They only served at certain times get there early .“
“First of all the people that work at harmony are the nicest people ever. I Had special ordered this cake for a Super Bowl/Valentines Party and it was truly amazing. Everyone was kept talking about how delicious, flavorful, and moist it was. Thank you all so much for this amazing Cake. It was truly a hit “
“Beer, glorious beer! Where do I even begin? Crooked Crab's taps brim with a kaleidoscope of liquid gold, brewed with the sweat, tears, and maybe a splash of Chesapeake Bay brine by their passionate crew. Forget your mass-produced swill – these are artisanal ales spun from the finest grains and local magic. I dipped my anchor into a citrusy I Fought the Claw IPA, a juicy explosion of grapefruit and pine that had me bellowing sea shanties with gusto. Then, I dove into a smooth-sailing Sour! Sour Ale, a tart symphony of berries and funk that tickled my taste buds like a mischievous mermaid. And let me tell you, their seasonal brews are worth braving a kraken attack for – their Pumpkin Spice Latte Stout last fall was enough to make Old Man Winter wear a lei.But it's not just the suds that set Crooked Crab apart. Their brick-oven pizzas are legendary, with crusts as thin and crispy as a sun-bleached sail and toppings that sing like a siren's song. The Goodfella, a symphony of pepperoni, sausage, and green olives, is a classic that never disappoints. And if you're feeling adventurous, the Crab Rangoon pizza, a creamy, cheesy ode to Maryland's bounty, will have you dancing a jig.“
“Honestly the best waffles I’ve ever had across the board. Usually the bubble waffle houses phone it in with the waffles and make them dry: not these folks, the chocolate waffles are insanely good. The staff was kind and professional, and even the ice cream was delicious.Warning that one waffle was enough to feed three adults for dessert but we all enjoyed it so much and we will come back!“
“I really enjoyed my time here. I saw an advert and wanted to try it out. The drinks were different for regular boba tea as they are Vietnamese dessert drinks but they were really good. The staff will also let you sample any of the ingredients you haven't had to get an idea of flavor. We are in our mid 20s but the atmosphere is very family friendly. So it's good if you have kids. The drinks were great and the staff was super friendly.“
“The parking was tight. Be ready to walk a block or 2. I didn’t see any dedicated parking lot for this restaurant. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was cool ,eclectic and dim great for a first date. The music was ethnic and added to the vibe . The drink were expensive but good.“
“A friend took me here for lunch and it was very quiet inside- it was a Thursday afternoon- which was expected! I got a Cuban sandwich and he got the Nashville hot. The presentation of the sandwiches was great. His sandwich was huge! My only complaint is that my French fries were cold and my sandwich had so much mustard. The service was ok- they were kind of quiet and not really enthusiastic. I really liked the pour system they had because it gave a lot of good options for beverages.“
“I came here with one of my besties after the Mariah Carey concert this past December and we ordered off of the late night menu, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I was recommended this restaurant off of reddit and I am so glad a listened because the smash burger here was one of the best burgers I think I have ever had. Our waiter was also such a pleasure and attentive. Also, such an immaculate vibe inside, especially at night!Parking: There is free street parking on Conkling St. and the crossing street but it can definitely be a pain at certain hours of the day. Definitely not bad though and in a fine part of the city I felt safe walking at night in.“
“Honestly, Crepe Crazy slaps every time. The people there are super sweet and quick with your food and it's fun to watch them cook up your order! They have a large and diverse menu of sweet and savory options (I usually get the prosciutto and apricot jam), the latter of which come with a generous side salad with a yummy dressing. They use high quality, gourmet ingredients like nice cheeses and cured meats, and most things are only $10.99 which is honestly a steal for the quantity and quality. Crepe Crazy is definitely a highlight of Cross Street!!“
“Update: So I think what happened is that somehow, the distributor must have had a few cases open, and they mixed them up when reassembling them . I found clear packing tape on the underside of the case .Changed to 5 star for H/S beer Tropi-cannon.I'm not sure what to make of the recent purchase of Tropi-cannon six pack,(5+1 pack) , there was 1 can of Evil Genious "Stacy's mom" in the pack . Not what I was expecting or paid for, but I will give it a try anyhow, and if it's good, maybe change to 5 star .“
“Monument City Brewing deserves nothing less than five stars! The brewery offers a fantastic selection of meticulously crafted beers that cater to a variety of tastes. Every now and then there is a food truck outside for some good eats. It hasn't been there during every visit, but when it is, it's fantastic. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between laid-back and vibrant, making it an ideal spot for both casual outings and beer enthusiasts. The friendly and knowledgeable staff enhance the overall experience, providing insightful recommendations and fostering a welcoming environment. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Monument City Brewing is a must-visit destination for exceptional brews and a memorable time. Five stars well earned!“
“THE ONLY REAL NY PIZZA IN TOWN! it's so good and every time I'm in the neighborhood I try to go but it's Often closed since they don't open till afternoon on the weekdays. And I just tried to go on a Monday at 7 PM. They were closed too. So I just hope they can expand their hours sooner than later.“
“I love this place! Prices are very reasonable, hot dogs are GREAT (high quality meat, bread, and toppings), and Troy is really nice and personable. It is literally on the side of the road though, so either park nearby and walk or just park on the shoulder of the road!“
“Came to Bmore Licks for ice cream. This is my go-to spot for fresh local ice cream all season. The staff are pleasant and I enjoy perusing the wall of flavors even though I know I will always get my favorites (egg nog in the winter, praline in the summer, on a sugar cone, no less. It's a shame we have to come all the way across town, but the drive is worth it!“
“Hostess sat us early which we so appreciated! And our waitress was wonderful - attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. My salad order was off but I loved the one I got so no harm no foul. Husband's pizza was perfect - and he's from Rome so a tough critic. Hersh's is always reliably delicious!“
“The cocktails from here are unique and delicious. The future ball is my favorite. I have tried all of the short rib food dishes and they are all fantastic. Bonus points that they have a seasonal cocktail menu meaning you can get something different every time you go.“
“Love this place! I got a chance to check this brewery out a week ago and I love that it has a little game area, is dog friendly and offers a food truck right out front. The inside is so cute with a beautiful mural across the back wall. The space is huge so if you were to come with a large party, it could seat everyone. They have such great beer options with cute punny names. My favorite thought was the hard kombucha. Maybe I was just tired of drinking beer by that point but it was so light and not heavily carbonated. The kombucha flavor was not overpowering and left me wanting more had I not been so full! I would highly recommend checking this place out especially if you have dogs or kids. Perk is that it is indoors and dogs are still allowed in!“
“We ordered for take away but thought the atmosphere was so cool we are going to try to go in next week. The food was fantastic- the best Thai I've had in a very long time. We went with the Pad Thai, the curry puffs, and the garlic chicken all at medium spice. Medium spice was great for us because it wasn't really spicy but still had great flavor. Everything was delicious and I'm so excited to have the left overs for lunch. We will be coming here a lot!“
“Coconut cream French toast, shrimp and grits and gravy train southern skillet.. omg yum..Update : returned the next morning because we couldn't stop talking about breakfast all day.... Got the red velvet pancakes, shrimp po boy and chicken and waffles the following day. Whatever magic butter was on the waffles was to die for. There was 3 of us (and a child) and we split the 3 meals each morning. Our clear favorites were the gravy train skillet, coconut cream french toast and the chicken and waffles.Tara was our server both mornings, she was so sweet, and my daughter loved the novelty of drawing on the etch-a-sketch while waiting for our food.Kid-friendliness: etch-a-sketch and bento box“
“Reddit said this was the best breakfast sandwich and they were not lying. The Cuban is terrific. Ham, swiss, eggs, pickles and dijonnaise. Also the staff was terrific. They put milk and sugar in my coffee for me which I think is a little thing but really appreciate. I wish it was closer to my house or my office but I will be back soon.As a side note, it's something about this particular neighborhood that I have been to three restaurants that were located inside older apartment buildings. It's a vibe up there.“
“Take my friend there almost every Saturday. There ice cream is the best and the staff is about as nice as it gets. These young people are so friendly and respectful. I highly recommend their ice cream !Parking: Love this place but the parking on the hill is fine if dry . After a rain it's messy/ muddy. Please do something about the parking and the restroom situation not good“
“It's the best burger in Federal Hill and comes with the most amazing potatoes and a green salad. Friend ordered the same and both of our burgers we're cooked perfectly to the temperature we asked. Everything about Sobo is welcoming and the food is always delicious.“
“As I explained to Christa, I was dead set on going to another brewery that was closed for Xmas Eve. Luckily, I realized that I hadn't been to Pariah yet, and I made an excellent choice. My visit was perfect. Christa was an amazing host who welcomed me like family. The beers are excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming. And I will be coming back and supporting Pariah as much as possible. Love this place!“
“Loved it, great little cafe with a very chill atmosphere. Friendly and patient staff. A large amount of vegan options which is always appreciated.Vegetarian options: I can't speak to everything, but I had a vegan egg and cheese bagel sandwich that was amazing.“
“Got the vegan mushroom ramen. Noodles were good. Soup was a bit disappointing but not bad per se. Tasted mostly of shiitake water + soy sauce, lacked depth. The included beet pickle and agedashi tofu in the ramen were appreciated. Sat at the bar, friendly bartender, good about refilling water. Nice atmosphere being able to see the cooks prepare your meal. Will be back to try the brothless ramen.Vegetarian options: Two ramens are vegetarian friendly.“
“I love this wine and sake bar in Remington. From the ambient lighting to the modern decor this is a great spot for pre- post- dinner drinks. There's also Chachi's on site for food. I've been coming here since 2019 and it's always a solid spot. They do include a 20% service fee for all orders. On this occasion, I came to their Gut High wine tasting event. It was so spectacular - from local to international natural wines. It's definitely a hipster cool spot in the city!“
“Amazing tea selection! The barista is very knowledgeable about them and excited to recommend different teas. WiFi and outlets available at most seats. I love that they have reusable glassware for dine-in and disposable cups for take-out. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere for productive working/studying.“
“This excellent dive bar in South Baltimore. The bartender was super friendly and the drinks were dirt cheap. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have karaoke. Let me tell you that this was the most supportive group of karaoke attendees I've ever encountered. It was like something out of a movie with everyone cheering and filling in the blanks when performers were stumbling. I'll definitely come back!“
“Parking was NO CHARGE after 6pDrinks were flavorful and the bar tender, Nate was great!Food took a while to come out, was good (not bad, not great)Atmosphere was clean, crowd was diverse.. seems like an after work spot for people who work in the area so it may get busyIndoor & outdoor seating optionsCheck it out, I enjoyed myself“
“10/10 would recommend! This is such a cute restaurant in an adorable neighborhood in Baltimore. The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. The food was delicious and menu was different - had the best pig ears I've ever had! The coolest thing is the menu is rotating so you'll want to come back!“
“Little kitchen putting out big flavor! But the dining room needs to be bigger. It's just too cramped...maybe bar should get smaller to make room. They don't even have enough room for a coffee pot! Burrata was out of this world, baked/fried cheese no bueno. Risotto amazing, but needed a little more short rib. And let's skip the fries as a side/garnish...feature something else coming out of that little kitchen. And maybe replace the fryer with a freaking coffee pot! We will go back to try more of the Italian side of the menu...but we will go it alone, or maybe on a weeknight. Too good, not to be better!“
“There is only one place I order Chinese from in this area which is this family owned places. Owned by a very friendly and hard working Chinese family. The lady always has a kind word to share and remember her customers always. I cannot recommend this place enough for take out food. Never had a bad experience here!! Thank you so much for the good food.“
“Honestly, One Sweet Moment don't miss. Their snowballs are literally the best soft but not too crunchy ice consistency, soft-serve tastes like McDonald's back in the day, and you can not beat the classic Egg custard with marshmallow(also in diet option). Did I mention they also have Egg Custard soft serve, but you gotta get that while it lasts cuz it goes!“
“Busy place. Waited 15 minutes standing at "order here" sign just to get a drink while at least 2 bartenders were washing glasses and stocking beer. Waiting another 10 when ordering food. Food came quick and was good, not great, and pricey.“
“Excellent experience! While my bestie was having brain surgery at Johns Hopkins I walked down to this neighborhood bar. I met the manger Dave and the bartender Merideth. Awesome people they listened to what I was going through and they were so kind and understanding. The environment is awesome and so is the clientele. Good music everything from punk, rock, and pop. But it definitely wasn’t to loud. A total non judgement zone. All different walks of life. Great pool table also. I will be visiting this bar every time I’m in Baltimore. This is definitely a hidden gem in charm city! Thanx Spirit Tavern!“
“Stumbled on this place the other day while visiting clients in Baltimore.I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice coffee shop with good food.I had a latte there and took home chicken pot pie and apple pie as well as a bag of coffee beans for my espresso maker.I wasn’t a fan of the apple pie, not sweet enough for me. But that chicken pot pie warmed in the air fryer was an 8 out of 10. Delicious!!!!I’ll be here every time i’m in the neighborhood.“
“Great, adorable place with the best ice cream we've ever had in GENEROUS sizes. Every ice cream is completely stuffed full of the toppings and flavoring. We were supposed to find they also sell hot dogs and bratwursts cheap, with chips and a drink for $1 more, great deal with how expensive this city is. The owners were so sweet and we had a great time, amazing and welcoming, very friendly, great decor.“
