We went to Rita's and purchased 5 items. One was an Italian ice and I have never had an Italian ice with fruit in it at Rita's. It was for someone in my family. He didn't know nor wanted it after eating it and finding out that fruit was in it. He was surprised fruit was in it. After asking the cashier a young girl that made everything to change it she said it was already made so she couldn't change it. We then asked for a discount if we purchased another Italian ice without fruit and she said they didn't give discounts. I guess they also don't try to solve nor address customer's issues either. We won't support this Rita's again.
This place was so cute! They had red and white stripes as their decor, and also a pretty good outdoor place. The workers were kind, and they brought our order pretty quickly. I got my go-to Rita's order, blue raspberry and root beer Italian ice with gummy bears. It brought out those exact flavors, and I loved it. My friend got the pear ice cream, which they said "I like it" and they said that "they were surprised the small size is still a lot." I guess the small size is a bit large, but other than that, this place is very awesome!

New flavor for the summer is out Peach Ring Italian. It sounded refreshing and delicious. A must try for me. I ordered a large Gelati and paired it with Key Lime Italian Ice with Vanilla Custard. It was a perfect combo for me as the Peach Ring has a nice peachy flavor but a bit sweet so the tart Key Lime toned it down perfectly. I'll definitely be back for another one and maybe with a different pairing. Service was great as I was warmly greeted, made exactly as ordered and fast checkout. Check, check, check . Love me some Rita's

My favorite thing right now is the cold brew frozen coffee. It's addictive. But plenty of good items on the menu. My kids love the frozen custard with toppings. Employees are friendly too.

I love Rita’s and it has been a family staple for many years. Unfortunately today I was greeted by a timid server and very aggressive owner. I made a simple request to have just a little less Italian ice and a tad more space for custard. The owner or manger thought it was proper customer service to express to a customer that they could not provide a service without providing a cost breakdown. Even continuing to mentioned that they would be out of business for giving out a small additional custard. I agreed to pay and ask if it could be put on the side and again was refused. I was told I could only receive the additional custard I paid for on top of my cup but they would not have a lid to accommodate the additional custard. Not really sure why he’s in customer service. Worse experience. Try Muncaster Mill Rd, more customer oriented and capable staff.
