EXTREMELY RUDE MANAGER. Messed up several to go orders and instead of apologizing or correcting issue rudely snapped back " what do you want me to do about it." Complained that she has "never put in an order that big before" ...it was 8 orders. Should be happy to have business and try to fix issue instead of argue with customer. The number of orders has nothing to do with putting the correct ingredients that comes on the food. Will not order here again.

We stopped at this bakery on our way out of Cambridge. We ordered waters, chocolate milks for the kids and 2 coffees to drink and each of us ordered a meal off the breakfast menus. My husband and I got the coffees and our waitress finally brought our water and the kids chocolate milks 15 minutes later after we had to remind her twice! The place was 10 tables full with 4 waitresses and what seems to be the owner or manager. I was a waitress and handled 4 tables at a time just fine. So being understaffed is not the problem here.We finally received our order and waited for my husband’s Egg Benedict dish to arrive but it never did. We asked for ketchup but never got ketchup. The Waitress completely ignored our existence, never checked once on us after getting our food, she walked past us multiple times and didn’t care to acknowledge that we were still missing part of our order. We waited for our check but you can guess that we never got it. I had to get up and ask for it. I realized that we were charged for the Eggs Benedict so I asked for it to be removed. The hostess went to ask our waitress about it and our waitress her head agreeing that we never got it. Did she care to come to us to apologize? Of course not! Do you think I left a tip?? Of course not! Do you think I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely not and we are never going back there! By far the worst service I’ve ever experienced!!!

Upon arrival was greeted with attitude. After being sat we didn’t get attended to for at least 30 mins so we put in all our food right away. They brought out our appetizer at the same time as our food so our entrees were cold by the time we started on them. The food was terribly bland which made them hard to finish. I will say it is a very cool place and the coffee was good. The pastries looked delicious but didn’t try them. If decided to come back it would be just for coffee definitely not food

We would like to go back and try again but will definitely get there wayyyy before closing time. I wish the hostess explained why they stopped serving food an hour before closing? I mean the right thing to do being in the hospitality industry would be to apologize and given it was our first time there maybe provide a gift card or discount on next visit.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. We got there an hour before closing, and got rushed at the end. But overall, very nice, and we'd go back for

I ordered a turkey club sandwich, which cost $15. For that price, I was expecting a good sized sandwich. Instead, there were three slices of bread, one strip of bacon and one slice of turkey. I regret that I did not say something then and there, but I can tell you, I will not be going back. And more importantly, I will be telling others not to go back.

This place has terrible customer service. They will make you feel rushed when trying to place an order. I received the darkest French toast I’ve ever had in my life, and the soggiest scrapple ever. I had to place my scrapple in the air fryer at home just to cook it longer. This time I took carry out, but the previous time I had dined in. The server act like she didn’t want to help us at all. Every time I needed a refill or anything else as far as condiments I had to ask other servers on the floor. I would watch the other servers go and tell her, and it was like she didn’t want to come help us at all. She would take forever just to bring us refills on our drinks. When it was time to check out, we were literally sitting there for probably about an hour. We ended up having to get another server to help us with checking out.

My husband and I love coming here in the morning for breakfast! I love all of their foods, but my favorite is the parfait. The fruit is so fresh and yummy. The granola is made there and delicious! I highly recommend going here. Later in the day, it can get busy, so be prepared to wait a little. Also, my husband loves the campfire hot chocolate!

We went for a family brunch (a party of 12) and the process was very frustrating. We made the reservation in person for 1pm and were told that if we came after 1 we wouldn't be seated. We arrived at 1 and they made half our party stand and wait. We were also told the place was dog friendly but upon arrival made me and my wife leave immediately. The food was largely bland and took over an hour to arrive. (We didn't eat until after 2pm.) Unfortunately, we won't be returning. The largest positive was that the desserts all looked amazing so we got a few to go. We have yet to try them but I will update the review when we do.

Black water bakery is a hidden gem! We visited for breakfast this morning and had an amazing meal! Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and fast service! We tried the Benedict, steak and egg burrito, waffles and even grabbed a few pastries for the road! Chloe was an awesome and attentive server and even overheard a quick latte flavor change which made our experience superb! Highly recommend this bakery for dine in or carry out! We will be back!!

I stopped in to grab carryout while staying at an Airbnb nearby. I went on a Monday so it was relatively quiet - lots of tables available and no line at the carryout counter. I ordered the quiche and the plain Jane Sammie on a croissant and added bacon. I also got from the bakery: blueberry muffin, pop tart, and the apple dumplings. Everything was PHENOMENAL!!!! The quiche was one of the best I've ever had - so fluffy and buttery. The croissant for the sammie was huge and flaky - the sandwich itself was humongo! I got an arugula salad for both and it was delish. The dressing was so good. The pastries were to die for - especially the apple dumplings!!!!! I'm in love. I can't wait to come back again
