This place is ???! I didn’t know what to expect, Southern Comfort and Curries? Sweet baby Jesus, you did it! Amazing Catfish battered so well, not overwhelming or greasy… clean! Fish fresh! Cornbread, well done. Collards on point! Mac n cheesiest, with a seriously mindful take on all of this, I look forward to coming back again and again to try all the goods!

Truly phenomenal. Even the mac and cheese and chicken tender basket I reluctantly got for my kids were fresh and delicious. Peri-peri chicken was tender and tangy, and the chickpea curry was great!Phenomenal quality and service. There was a bit of a wait (20-25 min) as they prepped the food fresh, but they made it clear the food wouldn't be lightning quick so our expectations were met on that front.

Food was good! We got the seafood combo and everything tasted pretty fresh and fried well. Cornbread was delicious and on the sweeter side which I like. Service was quick and the lady in the front brought the food out to us.

Excellent all around!! Went there Friday with two friends and brought my boyfriend there Sunday so that he could experience the deliciousness! Love Love Love! The father and son make the DELICIOUS food. The young lady fronting the restaurant gives the best service (and I go out to eat a lot) and the music they play in the dining room is fun and funky in the greatest possible chill way.. 10/10 experience here. Will be coming back again and again.

While the menu seemed very eclectic, I was overall happy with my experience. This is more of a fast food restaurant feel than a sit down establishment. As mentioned by fellow Yelpers, the food is made-to-order, so practice patience when you arrive. It was 6 in our group, so we tried to order a variety of food items and also get some staple dishes. The catfish was highly recommended by a fellow patron, which was lightly seasoned but flavorful. The Salisbury Steak was savory. As far as sides, they were both a hit and miss. Mac and Cheese came recommended as a hit but it definitely was lacking. It had no flavor and appeared to be made with artificial cheese. The collard greens were great-interestingly it had cubed ham pieces in it. The succotash was flavorful; fried okra was fresh; the chickpeas with Jasmine rice was very delicious. As afar as desert, the chocolate cake was the only "hit". I would definitely go visit again if I am in the vicinity.

Delicious food! My group ordered 2 Fried Trout entrees with yams and Butter Chicken with rice and all were delicous. The food is prepared fresh and decent sized portions. They had a decent variety of bottle beverages. The restaurant is very clean and the staff was very pleasant. We will return!!!

My fiancee and I wanted to try somewhere new, Butter and Grace did not disappoint! Portions were large and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly. I got fried catfish and my other half got Oxtail. The oxtail was to die for!! So tender. The mac and cheese amazing!! Cornbread slightly dry but a swipe of butter corrected that. Will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for great home-style cooking, this is the place. Great flavors and reasonable price. Wings were big and well-sauced. Curries were made to perfection, a lot of chicken. They gave us a free side of candied yams which were amazing!Only comment will be the chickpea curry being oily and they didn’t have complementary water.Nonetheless, come here! For the prices and quality, there should be a full dining room every night.

This place was a by-chance find but we were not disappointed at all :) the man who helped us was kind and patient with us and he gave us multiple recommendations. No one else was at the restaurant and they said our food would take about 15 minutes to make. All the food is freshly prepared so I was happy to wait a few extra minutes. All the food was delicious and portions were generous. Great value find!Parking: Easy parking right in front of the store.

This restaurant is just as described serving “comfort food”. Not fancy but a great down home place with delicious comfort meals. We had catfish, oxtail, trout, and curry chicken; all tasty and well seasoned. The sides were very good as well: Mac & cheese, yams, spinach, and even the fries were delish and seasoned.Customer service was great also. We had a large party and they accommodated us quickly and constantly checked on us.I would recommend this restaurant and would go again.
