We had a wonderful dinner at Minty's last night, our first time there. When we made the reservation, Theresa, the owner could not have been friendlier! When we walked in all the staff made us feel welcome and happy to be there. We asked to meet Theresa and she came out personally and was so friendly. We were seated and the server came and lit candles at our table. The atmosphere is very homey and also romantic with fairy lights on the wall. Servers were great at guiding us to find our menu items as we had so many different things we would have liked to try. We both elected different versions of fried chicken, one smothered with mushroom gravy. Both were delicious, very well seasoned and crispy. Skillet brownie with ice cream was such a nice presentation too. We chatted with the owner again and felt like old friends by the time we left. We can't wait to return. We really enjoyed also the dish names all honoring Harriet Tubman whose nickname was Minty.

Minty's Place is a fantastic experience; the chicken is excellent and the burgers are worth it! The rice and gravy is fantastic. Friendly people, great atmosphere! We look forward to returning again soon to try the other options.

The food is literally very delicious. Probably one of the best of Cambridge, MD. The staff/owner are so inviting and friendly, it almost feels like they have sent you a personal invite to have dinner at their home like family. The only small hiccup that we came across, was the waiting for our order. Which the owner herself came over and apologized and was literally the sweetest individual that I have came across in a very long time. So that made it almost worth the wait in itself. We definitely will be back in the near future. 9.5/10

Amazing food. Really flavorful and distinct best turkey burger I’ve ever had. My fiancé got the chicken and waffles… also amazing. Never had fried chicken that good. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere is unique and homie. 10/10

We loved this place. My wife and I took her parents for lunch on Saturday. What a treat. First, the owner (and head chef) was so delightful, as was our server. We felt very welcomed. Then, the food was terrific. Two of us had great salads, my wife enjoyed an excellent burger, and my father in law had a cheese steak. The chili also smelled great but wasn't quite ready as we showed up very early. Definitely worth a visit if you like southern cooking.

We stopped today after passing by so many times. We discovered that the food is authentic Southern Homemade exquisite food. Husband ordered the Ross' Hot Dog w/ chili, it's a nice Hot sausage, came on a roll with onions, relish, ketchup and mustard and delicious chili, you can chose a side, he ordered the baked Mac N Cheese, it so good! I ordered the Harriet's Southern Buttermilk fried chicken and my side was Mac N Cheese, that chicken was perfectly seasoned, cooked and served! So delicious everything, customer service is super excellent and the food was served very warm.To finish our meal I ordered a super delicious Lemon pound cake, it came with lemon glaze, raspberries and scoop of vanilla ice cream!! So delicious and homemade too! This restaurant is super authentic, we highly recommended it and we know you will love it too. We will be back again.
