The food is great at this location. I removed the star because several times I have been to this location and there are people hovering around the main entrance. It makes me uncomfortable going there, especially at night, when there are grown men trying to sell candy, CDs, and 2 liter soda over the trash can or out the trunk of their car

I eat here several times a month. When I ate seafood. Great food and very consistent with customer service.
The place was super busy so I couldn’t place my order over the phone. I paid for the lamb and I paid extra for fried rice instead of white rice and a double order of Brussels sprouts and carrots. When I got back to the hotel room to eat the plate looked like it had been in a storm which could have been in transit I understand that but there was barely any rice on the plate and the lamb chops were dry and bland. I have been eating at Sardi’s for 2 years and this was the first time this happened. I didn’t eat all my food. Just 2 lamb chops and maybe a piece or 2 of the Brussel sprouts. I went back the next day to tell the manager this happened and his response was embarrassing. I paid $32 for that plate of food which is not cheap. I don’t know what I was expecting but it certainly wasn’t. “I wish you had come back yesterday, there’s nothing I can do for you today.” I said thank you for nothing and left. I will never go back to that restaurant again and I don’t know where Sardi’s hired that manager from but he needs some customer service and problem solving training

Stayed at a hotel across the street and Sardis was the best thing about my whole stay in DC. Literally ate there every day and loved every meal. Top notch friendly and efficient staff, delicious fresh food, variety of options. This is as close to perfect as it gets in fast
Sardis chicken is so delicious and juicy. I love the daily specials they have. The different flavor sauces. The staff is always kind and professional. The seating area stays clean.
