A nice place. Good food of large helping size. No air conditioning (hope there's some in the back for kitchen). Multiple restaurants with one to go entrance, so many things to try. Friendly staff.

Such a Home feel to this place. We got Abgoosht and Barg. Amazing and fresh. But the Kalam Dolmeh was heavenly

I had the oxtail which came hot over hot beans and rice with cold potato salad and cooked cabbage. It was delicious, and the people were very welcoming. Important to note: I'm a visitor, so I only ate here once. This was my first time ever having oxtail, so I have no other comparisons. A previous review complained about how little meat was on the bones. While never having eaten oxtail before, I have seen many raw oxtails, and this dish was no less meat than I expected. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and the oxtail if your looking for good, local food. FYI: It's carry out only, no dine in, and the food is ready very quickly.Update: I had oxtail at a different Caribbean restaurant the next night for comparison. Both restaurants were excellent!

Yo the food was so good I didn’t even get to take a picture! ? best place I’ve been to since my spot in New York! This is a must go to for lamb chops, crab cakes ?, Mac and cheese ?, turkey greens bussing. Everything was torch even the sweet potatoes. I’m going back tomorrow. ?

My first time here and it was interesting. I like the concept of easy carry out and multiple options for different styles of food in one place. However separate orders for my taste cravings is a bit inconvenient. I was really looking forward to ordering oxtails with Jollof instead of rice and beans but couldn’t plate it together but I get it so I ordered Rasta pasta oxtail and a side Jollof. Being from Brooklyn, my expectations were high for the Rasta pasta, it was giving regular cheesy penne but it did taste good. I look forward to trying other items until I find a go to order since this place is easy to get to. Also go early, Apparently, it’s a popular spot so that may run out of certain meals if you come too late in the day. The rum cake was probably the best part of my order.

This spot is heavy for a foodie like myself! This place houses a few chefs that offer different cuisines. It’s small but packed with so much hospitality and culture!During my first visit, we purchased the curry chicken, brown stew chicken, and Rasta pasta. I loved the curry chicken meal! My only critique is that they added more sauce/gravy to the entrees (but we didn’t know until we got home). The chicken meals pack some heat as well. Before going, my mother and I read a few reviews about the “warm potato salad”. I tried it because it came with it and it wasn’t horrible. Needed a tad more salt. But it is warm so just be aware of that. My aunt enjoyed her Rasta pasta as well. For the price ($25) of the pasta, it definitely came with a good amount of protein.During the second visit, my aunt and I ordered three 6-piece wing meals that came with two sides. I had the balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts and sweet potato mash. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice soul food-ish feel. We also tried the steak Mac n cheese egg rolls and the curry chicken egg rolls. My mother ordered the crab egg rolls. Everything was delicious! Even if something was lacking, I give this place five stars for the customer service alone.Shameless plug: there is an event center next door for all of your party planning/pop up shop catering needs! Check them out.

Very meh.... I got the ox tails and the goat. Flavor was lacking to say the least. I definitely won't be back. I'm positive that the reviews saying this is the best authentic jamaican food never had real jamaican food.

I wanted to like this place but half of my coco bread was hard. The three pieces of j*** chicken were more bone than meat. You don't get to pick your two sides so I was stuck with the warm potato salad, which was basically lumpy mash potatoes with vegetables but no seasoning, and cabbage. I ordered off of a delivery service and the sorrel was advertised as if it was made in house but it was tropical rhythms. Never again!

This is not a true Caribbean Rasta pasta. The pasta was swimming in liquid like a soup. It had orange cheese on top which was either American or cheddar which is not the cheese you use for Rasta pasta. The j*** shrimp had a sweet sauce on it which is very odd for this savory dish. Disappointing. Do not recommend.

The most authentic Caribbean food around. My wife and I were married at the event center next door and The Food House catered the event. Everything was amazing.

Food was amazing and staff was so friendly! We got the curry and j*** chicken, we didn't get our potatoe salad BUT we ain't complaining! That probably would have been amazing too! We got the banana pudding, Lula we are coming back for some of your "soul" dishes! ♥️
