I watched as they cooked our food and can say they practice very safe food handling practices. When I got home we all opened our subs and began eating them. “Hands down… one of the best! If not the best cheesesteak spots in Baltimore/Towson. Not to mention this place stays open late til 3am. The portion size is amazing! The sub is a very good size however with size comes $$. For (2) subs, (2) fries, (2) drinks I paid $50 nonetheless I definitely recommend.“
“One of my favorite places to go if I'm in a hurry & want something quick. This one is located in the shopping center on Washington blvd. Which means usually you have parking but certain times of the day it can be a headache. But the service is always excellent when I come. Plus it's always multiple people working back there unlike most of the food places in the area so it provides for much better service. Today I was treated to a special surprise as I was ordering my food the gentleman preparing my sandwich shared some of his dad jokes wit me (djm I love corny things like this). It's just something bout people that go outta their way to try & brightens other's days that makes me smile. But now back to the sandwich I got the club supreme wit everything no tomatoes add chipotle mayo, bag of chips & drink combo for around $15.“
“I have been coming here since I was a kid. Truly a staple in the community. The food has always been consistent. The chicken box is a classic. Their cheesesteak is good also. The half n half is way too sweet though. But I love this carry out. Nostalgic for sure. And they will not make your food until you show up (assuming they have experienced many people not picking up orders).“

“When they cook their pizza properly meaning it isn't soggy in the middle & crust is crisp....they are right up there in the top 5 for the Baltimore area! Its a "no-brainer." This is one slice out of the box on a very large plate. Enjoy it.“
“The wings and onions rings were fresh and made to order. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The onion rings were perfectly fried as well. The ambiance is for carry out but also has space to sit and eat. I went around 1pm and there was a line but the service moved efficiently.“

“The five stars is for the dasher.The four stars is simply because I asked for salt, pepper and ketchup on the fries. The fries were SATURATED with ketchup. I couldn’t even eat them. The sub was really good! No complaints. The half and half was really good! I love the brown boxes the cake and fries came in. Will try you guys out again. Next time I will come in store to review the atmosphere.“

“Had my first sandwich at the Charlie’s Steak at the Columbia mall. I was given a sample of the chicken steak by a guy from behind the counter and I was hooked. I know they are known for their classics cheese steak, but the chicken was on point. I got the combo which included fries, which was a generous portion, and a large soda. Everything was good quality including the service. Looking forward to trying the steak sandwich on my next trip to the mall. Highly recommend!“

“This is my first time trying Charleys! I ordered the old school cheesesteak and cheese/bacon fries!! I also got the watermelon strawberry lemonade. I ordered for pick up through their website which was very easy and user friendly. My main take away is I wish I could have created my own cheesesteak because I wanted super specific toppings which I probably could do in the store. Other than that the lemonade is YUMMY, the fries are pretty good and the sun overall was good. I need to try more items and maybe order in store next time and that could have earned a 5 star. For a quick sub meal this is a good place to try out! I think I will get their wings next time too to see how they are. The staff were super friendly, the inside was cleaned and smelled good! My order was ready EXACTLY when they said it would be. It was a good experience worth another try! One last thing - THE FOOD CONTAINERS ARE PRETTY AWESOME!!!Thank you Charleys staff“
“So here is the funny thing about this place! It really has an unwelcome and unique look, but the food is great I have never in my life though to eat from a place that looks like this but trust me I have eaten from here more times that I can count everything is good, salads, subs, pizza I have tried several items from this place and all of them are good. Just call to order because they are always super busy. And sometimes you can't even order over the phone always busy during lunch time.“
“I wanted to leave a review because I’m surprised this place has such a low Google rating. The cheesesteaks and fries are fantastic, I’ve ordered pick up from here about ten times and it’s always been fresh and my order is accurate. The bread is good and chewy; I’m really picky about sub rolls and these are some of my favorite out of the local chain options. As far as cheesesteaks go they are way less greasy and sloppy than most and they don’t get soggy and fall apart.“
