I came here to try out their seafood. They have an extensive seafood menu and a nice variety in choices. We ordered a good amount of food and truly enjoyed it (see pics). The Food * I love that they have a Mini Shrimp Boil option. * I ordered the Mini Shrimp Boil. This includes a half pound of shrimp, corn, and roasted red potatoes. For me, this was still a lot of food. I was unable to finish it; it was nice having food left over for the next day. * For the boils, you can select your primary seasoning. I ordered the garlic butter. Great choice. * My friend ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy with crab meat and french fries. The fries were smothered in crabmeat with sriracha remoulade sauce. He finished it pretty quickly. Lol. He said that it definitely hit the spot. * We had the Cajun Wings (breaded) and Lemon Pepper Wings (non-breaded) as appetizers. The lemon pepper wings were too salty, but the cajun wings were pretty good...and fried hard. Inside Dining Experience * We decided to sit at the "bar" to eat our food. The bar was completely void of anything alcohol related, but it did have televisions to watch the game. It turns out that Hook and Reel is a BYOB establishment. What's even more cool...they don't charge an additional fee for bringing in alcohol. There is a liquor store 2-3 doors down from the restaurant. We walked there, grabbed our libations, and joyfully returned. * There is no one manning the "bar" because its more of a seating area, but a waiter did consistently come and check on us. * We ordered our food mentioned above, were provided cups for our alcohol and water. * My biggest challenge with the restaurant was the manager's lack of response to an incident occurring in our seated area. There was another group of people eating and one guy was completely drunk. Completely. He was got into an argument with a woman in his party. It got so bad that his friend had to separate him from beating her up. That was wild. He then began punching the walls and kicking over the restaurant's chairs. The staff is seeing this but nothing is being done; they were watching. My guess is that the manager knew the people because he was trying to give them an opportunity to calm their friend down, but it was only getting worse. After awhile his friends were unable to control him. He began storming around the restaurant and I genuinely felt unsafe. I thank God I was with my friend. When the drunk man looked our way, my friend didn't flinch; my friend looked at him like I dare you come this way. Thank God the man stormed passed us because my friend is not the person to test; he wins wars. Lol. The guy storms out the restaurant to begin kicking the cars in the parking lot. Very soon security and the police showed up. The man surprisingly cooperated and was taken away. This drama went on for at least an hour of my dine in experience. * People get drunk. It happens. I didn't appreciate how long the manager allowed the foolery to go on even to the point of endangering other patrons. I do believe this was an isolated situation, but they definitely lost points in their the emergency response. Would I come back? I would. I'd give them another try and sit indoors to see if this was a one off. Again, the food was pretty good, it was nice being able to see at the "bar" to watch the game and have your own drinks, and our waiter was very attentive, made great food recommendations, and apologized for the scene that took place.

Delicious food. We like the seasoned garlic butter, though it was different the second time we went. the crawfish wasn't good, but everything else was great!

Got pick up from here this weekend. The place is kinda new and really spacious inside. The order/pickup counter is friendly and has tap to pay card readers. That's always convenient nowadays. The Cajun boil combo was very good. Shrimp, crawfish, muscles are tasty and the potatoes n corn is well seasoned. Overall a nice combo.

Came here with some friends and my husband. Overall, the sauce is good but each location differs. They messed up our friend's order, but the manager came and fixed it quickly. The music they played was a bit obnoxiously loud and we couldn't really hear each other talking. I honestly would rather just order to go from here. Seafood is a good size. We ordered the hook n reel combo. With 1 crab cluster, 1 lobster, shrimp, and crawfish with sausage added. Fire, house special blend sauce.

If you have not been there, go there. It's high-end sea food, seasoned perfectly and they don't have a liquor license (yet), so you can bring in a bottle. (Liquor store two doors down). Biggest, most tender mussels I've had and the crab legs were GIANT. Also, the hush puppies were perfect with excellent service. Should have been a $80 tab, but we got it for $30 because of BYOB. Get there!!

My cousin and I came here because it had excellent reviews and we were in the neighborhood. It was our first time here, but it won't be our last. It was different, but different in a good way. First of all they don't sell alcohol, but alcohol is allowed to be brought in. We were like so this is BYOBB. Cool. A liquor store was like two doors away, so we decided to roll with it. Once inside we were greeted by a very sweet, very personable young lady named Dasia. The environment was very welcoming, clean and just cute. Dasia was our waitress and she was everything. Beautiful on the inside and outside. Her mom raised her so well. She regularly checked on us and made us feel like we were her only customers. The food was amazing and I plan on going back and taking my boo. Kudos to Dasia. She's a keeper. Brenda Gray Diana Noble

When the restaurant first opened it was great. Tonight I came to the restaurant and it was like going to a nightclub. The music was very loud with vulgar music with heavy cursing in the songs. What a disappointment!!! I loved coming to this neighborhood spot but no more!!! I am not going out to eat to scream to my husband who is siting across from me. I am glad that I didn't have the kids with me tonight. The kids love this place but can not frequent this establishment anymore with the vulgar and loud music.

Fast service and food was great! Only one issue no liquor license at this time so we were advised it's BYOB....not a fan of that at a restaurant. Otherwise wonderful experience!

I came here on Saturday night, not too many people. Music was soooo loud, there are three teenagers running the business!!!!! Music was unbelievably loud and the three boys were sitting in customers booth to take orders. I really hope the owner checks the camera and make some changes. So people can come enjoy the food.

The seafood was fresh! I ordered old bay the only problem I had is it didn’t taste like the old bay seasoning that I’m use to! I wish they would use the original old bay seasoning! The snow crabs are small but good the shrimp is good the corn is mushy! I would go back to get a different flavor not the old bay flavor because it’s not old! The picture is the old bay taste I was looking for
