My family of 4 who are not Indian walked in and were seated, no menus or drinks were offered, we sat for 10 minutes and another table came in , 2 Indian guys, the waitress asked them if they had ordered and started to serve them ignoring us and not making eye contact. At that point we walked out as we were not welcome. I understand they were understaffed but it seems like discrimination.

If you enjoy a long wait and rude service, then this is the place for you. There are better options a mile away on Route 40. After a few frustrating visits, we switched to Kebab Hut.

Has Sunday buffett. It's not your typical run of the mill Indian buffet that is prevalent in the US. Excellent selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Piping hot idlis (steamed rice pancakes) with three different chutneys - coconut, mint, peanut. But I recommend trying the goat curry masala with the idli. There was jackfruit briyani which was amazing. Never seen it ever in any Indian restaurant in over a score years in the US. There was rare delicacies like mushroom curry, baby corn, crispy bonda, delicious Pongal (south Indian staple rice with lentils) that pairs well with sambhar. For soup lovers, there is rasam - tamarind base, spicy soup that is perfect for cold winter day. Attu kaal paya - is the goat leg broth soup that's tastes amazing. Again never treat.

My kids decided to try this when they saw the Special Biryani. Flavor-wise, the Special Biryani is very good. Heat-wise, it builds very quickly. All of us had to alternate between that and naan bread. My oldest got a glass of milk and started spooning the (watery thin) yogurt sauce on his. We also had the gobi Manchuria, which our picky veggie avoider actually liked. Our middle one had butter chicken, which he inhaled. I ordered palak paneer for my wife and requested it "not spicy", in case they add chiles or something else spicy to their version. She had one tiny bite and declared it was too spicy. The rest of us tried it, and, while there's a little bit of a black pepper note at the end, it's not actually spicy. We'll likely be back, but I'll have to pick up something for my wife elsewhere, because she won't even entertain the thought of trying it again.

Frequently use this establishment for our Friday night dinner. Good food, normally freshly cooked and very tasty. One of the best options in the area that we have found. One tip is to check you order before you leave. Highly recommended.

Took a chance on this place, as they do not have too many reviews compared to others. However, I am absolutely glad I did. This Indian food is on 1000!! The taste/flavor profiles is familiar, but next-level. For example, the butter chicken completely altered my expectation of what butter chicken should taste like. My roommate had to lock his leftovers in the fridge. I was still successful in stealing some. The goat Korma was delightful. I wish it wasn't bone-in, but that doesnt take away from the taste at all. Leave some for the next day, and you will be blessed by getting an even better meal, as the seasonings will have time to get all the way through the food. 10/10 - if crack tasted like this I would be an addict.

I am writing this in between bites because the food is so wonderful and SOOOO happy to find this gem. They deserve all the love. I love Indian food, have tried it many places in the states and even the UK. Of all the high rated places, our favorite was Persis Biryani in Tallahassee, FL. After moving to Maryland and trying some of the "best" places in the state (including one restaurant in Columbia that is said to be one of the best Indian restaurants on the east coast), I was giving up hope on finding excellent Indian food. THIS restaurant blows them out of the water. And it turns out they are part of a small franchise we are fortunate enough to have apparently, tastes the same as I remember in Tallahassee. The biryani is incredible. Very soft tandoori style chicken, perfectly spiced- with the red onion and hard boiled egg I was missing from many other places elevates this dish. Excellent food, please give them a try.

After 'Sneha Indian Restaurant' shutdown for good, the need for affordable Indian food was filled by 'Persis' which timed its opening perfectly to get the rebound 'Sneha' customers. The location used to be a Pakistani restaurant but now serves Indian food under a different management. Its a no frills place but then again you are there for the food and not the ambience i suppose. The food is excellent. They don't skimp on the spice level so nothing is "Americanized" . We tried the paneer tikka masala, chicken chettinad, babycorn 65, cut mirchi and few other items and everything was good. That said i usually order my Indian fix "spicy" but these guys take "spicy" pretty seriously so i suggest starting with medium spice first. The portions are right on par with 'Sneha' and other Indian restaurants in the area as are the prices. Its a perfect takeout place and the only compliant i have is their website. It will overwrite each time you add an item, so if you are ordering 5 items the final cart will only have the last entered item ! This means you need to phone in your order. Also, i hope they come up with some specials and coupons to attract more customers on weekdays.

Fantastic Indian food!! They have so many options, including vegan options. The food is prepared in a reasonable amount of time.

Like many other local restaurants, we discovered Indian Delight during the pandemic via delivery. The food is consistently fresh and authentically spiced. While one could always stand more chicken in the chicken biranyi, the meat dishes are fairly proportioned...and who only orders a main dish during take out anyway? The menu is extensive enough and offers many protein and vegetarian options. Highly recommended.

Been meaning to try this place since I saw them move in not that long ago. Overall a solid place! They do have indoor dining and takeout. When I came to pick up my order there were two families at different tables well separated. Masks are required to enter. I was kind of disappointed that I came at 6:15 to pickup an online order for 6:00 and they seemed surprised that I was there already; I think it took them about 10 minutes to get everything together for me. The interior is simply decorated by pretty: there is a Buddha in Lotus pose, a TV playing India's top music videos, and some art on the walls. The food will not disappoint. I like spicy food, and the default of Medium on their online ordering has a kick, so my family had to make sure to cover things in raita to cool it down. We got palak paneer, which was good, but I think they could've cut the paneer cubes a tad smaller; they were huge! The chicken tikka masala was very tasty, though it was missing something... maybe salt? The shrimp curry had a nice spicy gravy to go with it and the malai kofta (my favorite) was superb. We got a bread basket, which came with various types of naan and tandoor roti. I'd love to see them add poori as an option, but if you have a family that loves bread for Indian food, this is a great way to get a bunch and try the various types. A couple of mango lassis to wash it down and it is a solid meal. The food's good and the prices are reasonable. I'd consider coming back.

Eat here all the time. Best pakistani/ Indian food in my area. The chicken tikka masala is very good. The owner is very generous and has given me extra rice and naan for no charge before. Garlic naan is great as well as the basmati rice.eat here.
