I was told about this place and I finally made it there after several months of trying not to only get there and was told I couldn’t get the lasagna because it needed to sit until tomorrow before they’re able to cut it. In my opinion you should have a few pans already prepared for serving for the day. I got there around 5-5:30 that’s dinner time for some folks. So I got a refund and left. I wasted my time driving all the way to Catonsville..

Really bad service. It was slow already in the store, and after waiting quite a while they got the sandwich wrong. When I attempted to talk the manager about it on the phone, she had the audacity to ask me what I would like her to do. It is her job to know what should be done to make it right - Not mine. They come across as only concerned with catering and large orders. Duly noted.

Neighborhood family owned cornerstone of the community. Absolutely the best pizza for miles. Awesome loaded subs and sandwiches and pasta. Add to that a well stocked Italian grocery and a butcher counter. That's Scittino's.

This is how you stay happy for the rest of your life. Go to this place once a week, order the Sicilian, while they make your sandwich, go buy a six pack at the liquor store 30 feet across. Sit outside at one of the tables, eat that sandwich, drink a beer or two. Bring your dog. Impossible not be happy while doing that.
Scittino's is the Italian deli, market, and take-out you need. Their pizzas and lasagna are delicious and very filling. But there is more than just the defiant take out. They are an Italian market too, with great cuts of meat, good general produce, and the best specialty products.
