I've bought bread made by the Breadery at other markets, but Friday was the first time I ever made it into the shop. The place is a carb lover's dream. It's one of those spots that invites you to roam and look at the coffee, the olive oil or even a six-pack of local beer. The real star though is the bread of course. Simply put, their sourdough is the best I've ever had. It's a perfectly chewy, slightly salty bread that is perfect for every application. Their cinnamon swirl bread is much loved by the kids at home for its French toast qualities. It's one of those places that makes you want to try everything and makes you realize how awful our store bought, mass produced sandwich bread really is.

Nice selection of unique breadsThe cinnamon bread I bought seemed to be day old or possibly over cooked. The orange breakfast bread was very good. You should go and check it out.

The Breadery is so much more than meets the eye. Tucked away in Oella, it's perfect location on the Trolley Trail that travels into Ellicott City or back to Catonsville. The water bowl for your "fur-baby" outside is the first reason to stop in.The fresh bakery smell is intoxicating. From sweet treats such as a croissant or a muffin are great to continue your journey. The artisan and traditional fresh loaves of bread & rolls are hard to choose from. But then there is more with fresh local coffee, the oil and vinegar tap room and recently a fine cheese collection. There is also an impressive wine collection. You can literally make this a one stop shop for all of my favorite things!!!

Best cheddar parm bread around. They stock a lot of local craft brew 6pks now and Brick&Fire pizza slings pies in the parking lot on the weekends for those traveling the old trolley line. It's out there though. Parking is limited.

This is an out of the way local gem. I've been in a couple times and the bread is fresh and for the price, surprisingly competitive. Everything I've tried so far has been a highlight, like the cinnamon swirl bread and the orange cranberry buns.

I took home challah and chocolate chip cookies. Too excited to wait for home, I tore a chunk off the challah and regretted it immediately. It was dry and overbaked and didn't have anything to drink with me. I had better hope for the cookies but they must have forgotten the salt. I will not return.

Very cool place. Quaint, old fashion, with an interesting selection of products beyond bread and baked goods.

Just an amazing variety of bread! So glad to found it on yelp. Will absolutely be revisiting. And their ingredients are all natural, no soy, etc. 5 stars!

This is a super cool and super unassuming spot. They have a ton of amazing pastries, and breads. They also sell local Ellicott city beers which is neat. I enjoyed the pan au chocolat but we got so many different varieties of pastry that I honestly can't decide my favorite.

Love the Breadery! Just had their lemon rosemary bread. Amazing! Cute little shop with bread (of course) but also vinegars, olive oils, liquors, wines, and beer. Oh, and delightful frozen pizzas- try the figgie!

We moved from NorCal three months ago and were really missing SF sourdough bread. Their sourdough ( that they make upstairs) is delicious- sour that you can smell and taste; that chewy consistency and a great sour crust. Also picked up a Zin from Lodi CA that was inexpensive and delicious. Told the owner that I was looking for a Lugana white wine from northern Italy and he called the next day and said he found one and asked if I would like to have one put aside for me. Honestly, The Breadery reminds me of a neighborhood bakery like you would find in rural Italy. That is so rare in America, where nationwide chains are generally all that is available. I hope everyone in the area supports and encourages their business- we certainly will! Looking forward to trying all their breads!!
