When I tell you that cake was EVERYTHING! Whimsy Cakes did my cousin's wedding cake and all I could do was ask...who did that cake?!? So for my mom's birthday...I knew exactly where to go! I ordered my strawberry shortcake online and ordering was seamless! The morning of pick up, I was given the warmest greeting and made to feel like family! And the cake itself, DELICIOUS! I needed a cake done within a week after another baker ghosted me during the ordering process and I found Whimsy Cakes online. I requested the colors and flavors but left the look up to them because I'm a typical man with no creativity. Even though Whimsy Cakes said they could get it done, I was still a little leery because of the short turnaround. The cake came out better than I could even imagine or have anticipated! If I knew then what I know now I would have gone to Whimsy Cakes originally as everything from start to finish was easy and enjoyable. The ONLY thing better than the look of the cake was the taste. I ordered a peach cobbler Bundt cake from Whimsy Cakes and the cake and the service were Extraordinary. Extremely moist cake freshly baked that day; it was still warm! The glaze and the streusel on top were delicious as well! I was unable to pick up my cake because I wasn’t able to drive that day and I’m so grateful that the owner took the time out of her busy day to deliver the cake to me personally! Will definitely order again!!
