This is our second visit to Wellwood. A unique experience separated into a formal or casual atmosphere, all in one building. As we entered we were greeted by a pleasant young man and a manager. We were seated promptly with drinks served right away. Weather formal or casual, the food is prepared the same. Unfortunately, my party of seven arrived too late in the evening for the crabs--the room was completely booked. Everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks and meals. My fried seafood platter was average, but I did enjoy the cornmeal hushpuppies. Wellwood is a little pricey, but worth the atmosphere and charm.
