This red crab house in Laurel will forever be better then crafty crab just because they giving you 2 oz 16oz or 32oz of special sauce to your liking crafty crab have us spend all this money and doesn’t allow u to order sauce on the side.. stingy with the sauce in my opinion

The service was disgustingly poor! From the moment I walked in, the host had her head down hiding while on the business phone. It took her 5 minutes to even acknowledge my presence. She was not pleasant when she greeted me. My mom and I were finally seated and our server was even worse. It took 30mins to receive our food, the entrée came out with the oyster appetizer. Our steam bags had been sitting in the back for so long, the plastic was melted, they were half way deflated, and the oysters were cold (were supposed to be steamed and hot). We NEVER received our drinks. We were not even offered a water. When we attempted to speak with the supervisor, the three staff on the floor stated there was no manager there and that they were handling everything. When we spoke about our complaints, they snatched our food off the table and threw it in the trash. VERY VERY POOR SERVICE. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

The location had a busted pipe in the septic system when I was seated. It smelled pretty bad. Beyond that, the service was good and the food was appetizing.

The family gathered here following funeral service today (4/10/24). The manager (Winnie) was most accommodating. Our hostess/server (Mo) was courteous, listened to answer our questions accordingly, and offered various other options. Mo was exceedingly professional and perfected every order!! We were extremely pleased and will definitely return REAL SOON!!Thank you all for ending our day on a pleasant note.Vegetarian options: Side orders of various options suffice vegetarians.I would suggest offering vegan options also (ijs).
The seafood was a little too oily. But the service at the bar was impeccable. Also the crowd was very chill and not too wild. You can definitely bring in your family to enjoy.
Food is always amazing, but customer service is really lacking. It would benefit the establishment if they would train the team. I love the food, location and ambiance.

The atmosphere is nice and chill local vibe...the music R&B/ Hip Hop/Trap...the menu has a lot of options with any price range. I won't order the crab legs again though although the sauce was very tasty, the crab legs were rubbery. The drink was strong but didn't look at all like the picture posted on the menu, but either way its still is a nice place to go with friends or date nite due to the chill vibe, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and overall decent menu prices.

I believe i prefer this location over Waldorf. I follow a lo sodium diet so i get my broil “dry” which means your sauce is on the side so that i can control the salt level . It’s great that they offer the sauce on the side at no cost but for me i stick to warming my own smart balance butter substitute and seasoning it up with some of Ms Tabitha No Salt Very Good Garlic Seasoning, fresh garlic and a game changer….J.O. #1 No salt seasoning. The seafood is never overcooked.. your selection of sauces and side items are remembered upon pickup and the hostess at pickup will even encourage you to try other sauces. That crab sauce is great. The atmosphere is pleasant as the workers genuinely seem happy to work there. Check out their daily specials online and feel free to order a head on their website
