This place is Cockeysville's best secret, and my ultimate lunch suggestion to people. I've been coming here for well over 20 years. My absolute favorite fries, wings, and beef sandwiches. Simply to die for.
Recommended dishes: Ribs and Fries, Gravy, Chicken Wings, Pulled Pork, French Fries

The food was great, and the service was friendly. My meal was hot and tasty I will differently be back. This is of on new haunts in Cockeysville...( FYI, I had the hot open face roast beef sandwich and fries with gravy). My hats off to the staff and management at this location.

Ordered the Colossal Ham and Turkey sandwich. Once recieved, the sandwich was exactly how I ordered it and the ham and turkey were juicy not dry like some other places. 2 thumbs

It's kind of what you'd expect from a roadside Pit Beef stand. I ordered the pit beef sandwich with horseradish, onion, and mayo. The bun was large and didn't fall apart in my hand. The meat itself was generous, though a bit dry and sinewy and not as flavorful as I hoped. And while I ordered it medium rare, the meat came out medium. The onions were finely chopped red onions. They were flavorful. French fries were solid.

It’s been a few years since I’ve ordered food here … it used to be one of our go to places as it was always very good. I decided to do carry out and I’m sorry to say it was pretty much terrible. We ended up throwing most everything away as it just wasn’t good. In the past I got the Caesar salad many times and it was great. The one I received today was so bad, I didn’t eat it. We ordered the pit beef sandwiches , I don’t know what happened but the meat was not seasoned and the bun was soaked with grease , again we didn’t eat as it the soggy oily bun was a turn off. The only thing that was somewhat good and edible was the ribs and French fries. I won’t go back but the only thing I would recommend is the French fries. Very sad that a great place in the past is no longer. Maybe new owners and management???

If you want to wait 15 minutes for a cold, totally mediocre pit beef sandwich this is the place to go.

We’d been told to try them and were finally in the area. I had the Larry sandwich and hubs had the Danski. Yummy in our tummy! The beach fries were perfectly seasoned and the cole slaw was chopped and really fresh. It’s a covered stall with a couple of uncovered outdoor tables. I look forward to trying more off the menu. We will go back.

Waited 40 plus minutes for 2 sandwiches and an order of fries. Not extremely busy, just super slow. Didn't use the grill to its potential as we could see the grill from where we were standing.

Look the food is good and I'm happy a place like this exists. But you can't make people wait 30 minutes for an easy order and expect them to come back.
