“We were looking for a spot to escape Baltimore traffic and this location is just off the highway in a strip. Inside, it’s plain, no frills, some seating. We saw a few folks grab takeout while we were there. We don’t have anything like this where we are from so a build your own Poke bowl sounded intriguing to me and it’s a great idea! I was probably a little too ambitious in my choice because my kids and my senior mother were kind of ho-hum about it. After we left, my teenager wanted a pizza. Although he liked the sushi parts of the bowl, the other add-ins were just too complex for him. I think a kid’s menu would have helped my 11 year old buy into it more as well. But their lack of enthusiasm was no reflection of the food, which was delicious. The premade specialty Poke bowls are VERY sloppy but the portions are huge! If I tried it again, I’d build my own and go leaner. The owner brought us spring rolls on the house. Delicious!“
“Had great service at this location today! Connoll was the team member who took care of me and he was great. Helped me with my order assisted me with getting my kids situated to eat. Great food and great location. Very clean and in a nice area.“
“I eat here every time I am in Towson, Timonium or Cockeysville area. The service is always polite and courteous. They are almost too attentive checking if they can do more. The best part is the food. This is the best golden nugget hidden in the area. You can never go wrong with their specials. I talked to the staff and they said they cater and deliver batch orders to many local businesses. If you have a group that would like regularly scheduled fresh deliveries you should give them a call. They will no doubt be the caterers at my next function.“
“Went thru drive thru today. Pulled up to get food and told to park at the Ramada next door and wait. No explanation and quite a long delay. When I asked why I was told I don't know it just wasn't ready and we have to keep the cars moving. Well how about preparing my food promptly? I came for fast food not wait for it food! “
“The new management is outsiding and really increasing elevating customer expectations. They go out of their way to make experiences rememberable. At the bar, ask the Sean or Jackie. They are two great people you could hope to meet. Coal Fire, Hunt Valley, is the coolest place for weekends (ask about the reverse happy hoor) and REALLY good pizza.“
