This is a hidden gem of a place! The inside is warm and inviting and feels like you've walked into Europe. The hosts are always charming and the food is always excellent. It's the best place in the area for lunch!

Side Street is one of my favorite cafes. I have had multiple meals here and they have all been phenomenal. The cheese steak has been my favorite so far. Service and atmosphere is the cherry on the sundae. Definitely will continue to come here as often as possible!!

Food very good. Couldn't give 5 stars because of plastic silverware!! That and the red solo cups for our water really diminished our enjoyment of what was a birthday lunch.

A very pleasant surprise. First time in the area, needed to find somewhere to eat, Google, then this place was less than .2 miles from where we were. So...give it a try and...it's wonderful! Relatively small, cottage-style family atmosphere, excellent choices on menu, all self-prepared and delicious. The people running it are delightful and welcoming.
Went for dinner and the service was great! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. I ordered the lobster roll — which is market price, at the time it was $38 — and it was good. I also tried the original burger and it was great. A member of my party had the Cowboy, which was mac n cheese, and really enjoyed it. Great variety of options, and did a great job avoiding cross contact for a member of our party with a shellfish allergy!

This place is a hidden gem! I have lived in Cockeysville for 20 years and wish I found Side Street Cafe sooner. The service is magnificent, the food (and the coffee) is flavorful, and the price is unbeatable. Inside is a treat for anyone who appreciates a casual, yet eclectic experience. It is great for a solo lunch, a meal with the family, or a meet up with an good friend.

Always friendly staff, great freshly prepaid meals. Very consistent quality, I tend to always order the lamb gyro or the chicken cheese steak often.
