All I can say is that if I'm ever going back to Washington DC I'm stopping by here. Although their Jollof wasn't my version of Jollof, it was still good and The Baobob drinks they had was phenomenal. People there were so friendly and open willing to talk to you. Overall nice experience
The food was great!! We ordered the 3 meat combo. The Jollof rice was different from the kind I'm used to, but nonetheless it was very good. I had never tried Senegalese food. I like it. ? Omar provided us with great customer service and hospitality. He was very friendly and assured us We made a great choice. My husband went crazy for the ? goat. The food I ordered (lamb & goat w/ rice) was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ginger & pineapple drink is made with a kick of a spicy ingredient but it is very refreshing.Overall you get a good portion for your money.Be patient, the service is a little slow but the food is worth the wait.
