Did not have a lot of the menu items available. The waiter was not helpful, being that it was our first time in the establishment. Just a disappointment.

Went there for the all-you-can-eat lunch. Not only was it a bargain, but the barbecue was among the best around!

I used to love this place so much that I would go very often last year. On the bbq side, they would serve you your plate of rice, a nice little soup broth and a side salad with peanut sauce as well as a compartment of sauces and kimchi and sides. They would also help you get the cooking of the meat going and check up on you very often to see if you needed assistance. I went yesterday so a family member could experience this herself.... the staff was passive aggressive except for the first young man who took our order. This place is self serve now. We serve ourself, we cook our own food and all for $250. That's just outrageous. It was even difficult to ask for a simple to-go box for our leftover that WE paid for. The menus are also not on paper anymore, they're through a QR code. I find this very difficult for those who dont own phones (not everyone has a phone) and those who are older that don't know how to use technology. I'm not sure if theres new management or someone bought out the restaurant but what I experienced yesterday was the worst experience I've had here. Also, the portions have gotten unbelievable small. It makes me so sad because I truly loved how authentic this place was until yesterday.

My to go place was iron age, honey pig and kpot but this place ranks up there with them, the new ownership made a world of difference, I was very skeptical because of previous owners/management but absolutely loved

We did the All You Can Eat Meat. we had to prepare it ourselves. which was cool. I got full too quick, so I didn't get a chance to get another helping of meat. the sides where ok but the plates where too small. I couldn't mix my food. Over all it was cool.

Went to get a bowl of rice and it was super cold. The beef they gave us just looked like ground beef and tasted horrible. Had horrible sauce options. Siracha sauce, bbq sauce, some chicken sauce and sesame. something you could do at home. You literally get what you pay for here. Weren't even in there for more than 30 minutes before we just paid and left.

This is a must must must go!! They have such awesome signature foods and drinks. It is a culinary experience! The food is very affordable, and the staff is fast and courteous. We came in for a special occasion, and were not disappointed. We ordered mainly delicious cuts of beef and some flavored chickens to cook on the grill, but we also had their amazing watermelon Soju drink, which I highly recommend. They have a Long all you can eat buffet bar and sauce selection, where you can go over and handpick what you’d like for the table. This is a great atmosphere that plays upbeat music it’s super clean and they have a really neat bartending section in the back where they prepare these gorgeous pineapple and watermelon fruit drinks in the actual fruit to serve the table. Outstanding!Kid-friendliness: This is a great kid, friendly restaurant, has lots of upbeat, music, and safe places for kids to sit

Over the past few years, our experience with Kangnam has worsen. We've given Kangnam many chances because of it's decent ramen and because it's the closest ramen restaurant to us. Today was the last straw and we will no longer come to Kamgnam BBQ. They didn't greet us and the host had a snappy attitude. The waiter sat us down, and it took an hour before they arrived back with just water. Its frustrating because we have the same experience over and over again. Shame on us and shame on you - Do better for your business sake!

Came here on a Saturday night looking to try the Korean BBQ. There was a long wait for the BBQ so we elected to sit in their Ramen section as there was not wait for that. The staff were friendly enough but they were VERY disorganized. We were at the table for about 10 minutes before our server came to greet us. She never took our drink order and instead just brought us water and menus. It was another 15 minutes before she came back to take our order. We ordered an app and two entrees (1 ramen and 1 beef bulgogi bento). It took about 20 minutes to get my bulgogi, which came out before the appetizer. The appetizer came out 10 minutes after the bulgogi and my wife’s ramen came out about 15 minutes after that. The appetizer and the ramen were on point and really good. Wish I could say the same for the bulgogi. Everything except the fried egg was either lukewarm or stone cold, and overall had no real flavor and lacked seasoning. I would have let our server know but she never came back to check on the table until my wife finished her food. Looking around the dining room we noticed they were serving tables one dish at a time instead of bringing everything to the table all at once. We chalked this up to the kitchen being disorganized. By the time our server came back around we let her know about the dish not meeting our expectations but all she could do was offer an apology. Don’t think the information we gave her ever made it to the kitchen for them to know how to improve. Not sure if we’ll risk giving this place a second chance.

Really good Korean BBQ and the service was better than any of the 10 or more other Korean places I’ve eaten. You can’t beat Korean and the lunch & dinner bbq is well worth it. I had the beef bolgogi, think cut pork and honey green onion chicken. Both waitresses were super attentive and one cooked my chicken for me while I ate...

Standards are falling. More expensive than before, smaller quantity of food than before. You need to pay $18 (incl. tax and tip) for some truly mediocre ramen that is not evenworth $8. Better avoid this restaurant.EDIT (Sep 2023): Tried their new all-you-can-eat BBQ, decent experience. Meat was not extremely fresh, but ok.

If I could leave no stars I would!!!, this place is NASTY as far as the Korean bbq option , they put cinnamon on the steak? make it make sense , the rice is too mushy, when you choose Korean bbq the sides available are trash they don't have any good sauce neither , the chicken left a bad taste in my mouth it tasted like candle wax , I had to spit my food out countless time because of how bad it tasted, the steak was brown, the offered a raffle and it was A scam !!! Don't come here for Korean bbq !

Tried their new kbbq. Food is okay. They give small portions and it’s basically a buffet style—if you want to get your sides (salad, rice, sauces, etc..) Was it worth $30? I don’t think so. It needs some improvement- like maybe having an own signature sauce. Service was 10/10 though.
