I've heard good things about Maryland Dairy, and it didn't disappoint - the ice cream is really good. I tried the 1856 (strawberry with sponge cake) and sapienza (vanilla with chocolate chips, brownie, chocolate swirl, etc.). Both were super yummy. The price point is also reasonable at $3.99 for a scoop, and that much definitely fills you up. Service is nothing to rave about - just your typical college ice cream shop. Excellent ice cream and even better service. Kevin was super nice and passionate about the ice cream, which comes in a variety of creamy flavors with generous mix ins. A must have in STAMP and a place that is a special part of the Maryland campus.

Maryland Dairy has been serving ice cream on the University of Maryland for 100 years. Formerly located in the Turner Building, its name has been simplified, and it is now conveniently and logically located in the food court of the Stamp Student Union.
