Undeserving of the 1 star but hey, it’s Google, so here goes my issue with management. When you have an employee who learns quickly, comes in early, never misses a day AND is up for becoming shift lead you don’t hold what their PARENT does against them. I’m the mother of a former employee who recently decided to make that change and relocate with me to better his life. My son had no idea the plans I had, he came home from work, saw me watching tv and the next morning I told him I was moving and where. He was hesitant about telling his manager because he hadn’t started that long ago and really loved what he did since he was just getting on his feet good but he knew he had to tell her at some time and he knew relocation was best for him. My son eventually informed Mandy of his relocation and requested a transfer letter and Mandy got upset assuming he knew when she hired him he would be leaving, heck I didn’t know I’d be leaving, it was a thought!! Fast forward to the request of the transferral letter, it was never received by my son and he requested it in February, she took him off the schedule 11 days early when he said he could work through 3/24. We moved March 26th, and the call to the local store in our area of Houston was never made. Once we got down to our new home he visited another location AFTER applying and now he’s getting the run around following his interview after them having to call this location to discuss his work ethic.Managers everywhere period, if you want to mad at someone be mad at yourself for being stagnant and being afraid of change. If anything, being older and a manager one would think they’d support a young person wanting change especially with all that’s happening in that area but no, that’s not the case. Do better people.Parking: It sucks

The manager was extremely rude. African guy, middle aged, looked very frustrated and ashy. No customer service skills at all.

I work on campus so I’ve placed food orders here for my dept and even guests to our dept. Food is good, but the customer service I receive from the lady I see there is not great. She ignores you and when she does acknowledges you, she is screaming and not being helpful. She basically does not want to be bothered. Thankfully she does call another person/manager to answer my question and they were nice. It’s the first impression I get from walking in here is not great.Parking: Because of the construction, there are no parking nearby. Across the street by Bank of America or across the other street, there are metered parking spaces.

I am AMAZED by their employee's attitude and I am shocked that Pot Belly allows this behavior! I just got off the phone with the General Manager and they confirmed that this employee described down below is NOT a manager but a team lead! That's not the same! I will be talking with the General Manager and District Manager furthermore! When I first arrived the lighter brown lady w/the curly hair that I gave my order to and rung up my order at the register was professional. I asked for a bag please because I had to walk a while, and I was also buying other items at the store. She said yes and gave me the bag.The lady at the sandwich toppings spot with the pink durag on (which isn't professional looking at all) made a remark to the young lady at the register about the simple fact that she gave me a bag. While making these remarks to the staff she's looking at me. So I said to her that I asked the young lady for a bag. So she said that "they typically don't give out bigger bags for only one sandwich". But said this time she'll "let me have one". By this time I already have the bag so idk why she even made these comments w/a rude disposition. My whole thing is that's something to be debated amongst each other. Not in front of customers especially when I am trying to order/pay for my food.I moved down to the pink durag lady and I proceeded to give my toppings for my sandwich. I said what I'll have on my sandwich... a few secs go by I asked "did I mentioned that I wanted lettuce, hot peppers?" Pink durag lady proceeds to give an attitude. Nevertheless she asks me "do I want my sandwich cut?" I said "NO. Don't cut it, I'll cut it when I get home". She looks at me, takes the knife & cuts the sandwich. All within the 5 seconds of asking me!! So she looks at me and says that she just cut the sandwich. At this point she's looking at me and I asked her "so why did you ask me if I wanted my sandwich cut? You heard me say no. Then proceed to cut my sandwich anyway?". She replied "it's outta habit" and started laughing. Honesty, I didn't see anything funny - yet thing things I can come up with wouldn't be too nice.So I ask for my sandwich and just told her that every time I come in here she gives me a hard time. So she asks "when"? I'm not gonna go back and forth with someone. So I asked her to hand me my sandwich. I already paid for all my items and just ready to go. So she says "I don't like you!". I told her that she "doesn't even know me to not like me". IM NOT okay that POTBELLY would even think it's okay or even acceptable that an employee talks to me like that! I told her she was "outta line and unprofessional" and she told me she was a manager there. She told me to "never come back and that they will not be serving me!". I told her that I haven't did ONE thing for her to be disrespectful to her! I also mentioned that she can't tell me to not come back!I am AMAZED by her attitude and I am shocked that Pot Belly allows this behavior! I just got off the phone with the manager and they confirmed that this employee is NOT a manager but a team lead! That's not the same!

I called in to phone in an order for pickup and was told to come in to place my order by one of the ladies working, but when I got there about 5 minutes later (before 9 pm, when they close), I was told that they are not taking anymore orders

I ordered a to go order and specifically asked to leave off the blue cheese. They ignored my instructions and melted it into a hot sandwich. I didn't even realize it until I took the first bite because it was all melted in. My entire meal is ruined and I wasted money on food I can't eat. If I had a dairy allergy I would have been screwed.

Summary: Picked-up for Catering Order - Charged 25% more than the quote we were provided with no explanation. Sandwiches were good.We hosted a party and so ordered a lot of sandwiches and salads. We picked up the order (no delivery). We were quoted a price and accepted. We were told it included tax and tip.We had a friend pick up the food. When we saw the charge on our credit card, it was just over 25% more than what we were provided for our quote. We have inquired regarding the price discrepancy, but it has been over a week and no answers have been provided. The sandwiches and salads were good and were packed well.We just wanted to leave a review for anyone looking to pick up large orders from here. Be prepared to pay more than the provided quote.
