Amazing pizza!

For a $30 large pizza the crust was half baked: soggy in the middle. Nothing worse than a soggy -- half-baked crust pizza. A poor product. It tasted OK.. but nothing worth paying for.

Wait time was a few minutes to get service, but the staff were friendly once they showed up. Fast turnaround and the pizza was good. The crust was really savory. Photo is a personal size. The restaurant has lovely decor with outdoor seating. Perfectly fine meal for a quick in and out.

Great customer service, but the pizza was paper thin and super soggy. Definitely not the best around.

Stopped by the other night to find some great pizza! Ordered some mozzarella sticks and salads which were both great. Was a big fan of the mozz sticks as they were seasoned really well. Got two different pizzas, a Traditional Cheese and a Margherita Pizza. Both were delicious and I am a huge fan of the crust. Even though we were the only ones inside, there was great service and a bunch of people were coming in to grab to go orders.

The service is fine and hit or miss at times regarding friendliness and consistency, but the problem which will never be resolved is... The food. We have eaten wraps, salads but many more pizza lunches several times and have finally given up on Potomac Pizza. Many in our lunch group have found it unfriendly to our GI tract, as we always burp it up for the remainder of the day but only when we eat the pizza here. And I though I was the only one experiencing this until we had an inside joke about will it be different this time? Hahaha. The pizza is thin and chewy, the crust puffy, sadly we have found the cheese on the pies are not salty nor cheesy in taste in fact has no flavor of cheese. Very odd. Initially we were wooed by the crust but after eating a few slices you can still be hungry because there is no substance to the pie. I have no idea why others lose their minds over their food because the salads and wraps are ditto in bland flavors. No flavor. Why bother going there unless you are staying at the hotel and do not want to drive elsewhere for pizza? Potomac deserves the fully rounded one star for inconsistent flavors and ambience. Underwhelming at a price you won't like. Bleh.

Buy one large, get a large for only 99 cents!?!? Are you kidding me, Potomac Pizza!? I might have to come here every Tuesday for that deal. The two pizzas I got were the Mexican pizza and a Cheese. Both were amazing, and got better when I came back a second time. The tomato sauce was very slightly sweet, making Potomac Pizza stand out compared to other pizzas. The Mexican pizza is a great contrast to the cheese and is a favorite among my roommates. I’ve tried three appetizers. The mozzarella sticks were the best. Nice and light and easy to eat. They taste great and the cheese won’t get stuck in your throat. Garlic knots were good. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers, those were delicious. The service was good, and the water cups were interestingly very wide. The atmosphere included a small bar-ish area maybe and TVs playing sports. Music played not too loud.

Was walking on a beautiful day to UPS on my way back I stop at this restaurant and boy I would never go here again. Order a slice of pepper pizza and the person that waited on me I had informed her not to preheat my slice. So I notice a worker in the kitchen put my slice of pizza in the oven. She was nice enough to go inform the worker but he couldn’t speak English or could he comprehend what she was asking him. So when I notice him taking the pizza out the oven then just put it on the counter. So I told the woman that he took my pizza and laid it on the counter. She went back their again, but after I seen him with gloves on cutting up chicken and then pick up my slice of pizza up with the same gloves he cut chicken I was shock. This when requested my refund. As I was standing their same worker then took and wiping his hands on his pants, and then went to the chicken that he was cutting up. As I was waiting for my refund I had informed them what he was doing I did informed them don’t be surprised if PGC Inspector come in here.Under it’s a language barrier but make sure you have someone else in the kitchen that under each order. One slice of pizza turned into disgusting and nasty handling of food and my slice of pizza.Kitchen looked clean but that worker didn’t take off his gloves and you can see the grease on gloves due to the chicken he had cut up.I worried how many customers got sick eating at this pizza spot across from MD University Campus. Yes it’s really clean restaurant but I truly believe you never know what’s going on in the kitchen when it comes to handling of food. Will be reporting this to PGC Inspector witness see what I see in the handling of food with the same gloves is very unsanitary, handling food. Unfortunately, it was my first visit and would be my last. She did refund my money but did keep my receipts just in case due to the fact it took the manager a fews minutes to refund my money back on my card. Why I informed them what the cook had did and don’t be surprised if Inspectors visit this Potomac Pizza. You never know who a customers work for when they enter your establishment.

I ordered a "small" grilled chicken caesar salad from this location for $13 + tax and could not believe the size of the portion. I understand that I ordered a small size but I would assume that a portion that can fit in 1 hand should not be almost $20. Ledo's pizza is less than 1 mile from Potomac pizza & their $11 caesar with chicken is easily 3 times the size of potomac's (if not larger, I am underestimating intentionally) and genuinely tastes better (Potomac's caesar dressing is watery).

This place is delicious! Quick service, cheerful staff, and really nice! Everything was good, food came out quickly despite a full house, and the meatball sub I got was phenomenal. Try it with grilled onions, mushrooms, and banana peppers! One of the most delicious, satisfying things I've eaten in a while. Half the sandwich was enough for me to be completely full. I'm genuinely so excited to eat it for lunch tomorrow. Parking nearby was $4/hour, but we were in and out in under an hour so that wasn't a big deal. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try, but if I ever have the opportunity to come back, I'll get the meatball sub. It was that good.

I ordered on uber eats, and can say and the food is above average for pizza around the area. Note that, if you order takeout, the fries might get a bit cold, but I'm sure it's really good in person.Vegetarian options: It's pizza so there's a heavy cheese content.
