Good pizza for a chain restaurant. Their sauce is a touch on the sweet side (which I prefer). If you're ordering bacon, always get the pre-cooked, the regular bacon looks like it comes with a side of salmonella.
It's weird knowing there's no original Ledo's anymore (for those of us who grew up with it). This spot is the closest we have now to the old real deal. Sometimes the pizza is perfection and sometimes they have off nights. Our most recent takeout order was definitely one of their good batches - the red sauce was perfect & the pizzas were all cooked just right. Came here for a late dinner because not much else was open after driving 7 hours to UMD. I ordered a chicken calzone and specified no mushrooms, and I what I received was a calzone that was about 40% mushrooms. I’m not allergic, so I picked around them, but it took like 35 minutes to come out when the place was pretty empty. The chicken was tender though, and the smoked provolone in it was really good too. The rest of the food is probably pretty good, at least for the prices.
