The food is good, but all the time that I order something to take out ALWAYS is missing something in my order(my pancakes, or hash browns, or one of the dishes that I ordered). They never give my order complete and if I don’t check my order on the restaurant I had to go back to get my food and always I have to spent to much time trying to get my food complete. I don’t recommend this place, the service is bad one time I had to argue with one of the employees bc my order was made earlier than expected and they made my food and leave on the table and another person took my food and when I got there to pick up my food wasn’t there, and I have to fight to get my food and I had to wait long time to get my food.

I always love finding hair cooked into the middle of my pancakes. Server was obviously apologetic and tried to fix the issue. There was a big hulabaloo about only taking a percentage off of my bill instead of taking off the pancake cost and I'm not sure why this was such a big deal.

My goodness how things have changed. My order of a biscuit and chicken was just awful. While picking up the biscuit, it broke down into mushy pieces caused by some type of sauce and hash potatoes Several of our party had food that was tasteless--salmon, rice and string beans. A lot of the food was left on the plates It is Sunday and although the establishment had only a few customers around 2pm, we expected quicker service. Our waitress was wonderful; however there seemed to be a shortage of help during this time period. Of course, prices and quantity is still apparent, the food seems to lack the hand of a good cook (chef). This location is one of the best, and I hate to see this IHOP go down hill. Nevertheless, the menu selections are great!Parking: Parking good based on time of day. Area shared by other shops.Kid-friendliness: There is always families dinning at IHOP in Columbia. Best place to dine in with a large family. Price wise, and the type of food selections for all ages can not be beat!

I went here against my better judgment. I have known for sometime that this location has issues!On this particular day the issue was that they didn't have enough people working, and the food wasn't that good.They also had a large noisy group of teenagers, but fortunately, they left about half way through my meal.I ordered the big steak omelette. It was greasing, and the steak was tough to chew!I ordered a side of Turkey lake sausage, but I am not 100% convinced that that was turkey! It may have been pork!Despite the fact that the meal wasn't very good, my waiter was very nice.When it came time to pay the bill, I gave him cash. He asked if I needed change, and I said yes because I wanted to give him the tip separately.When he came back he only gave me partial change! I was annoyed by that. I guess he was afraid he wouldn't get a tip at all, so he decided to keep the coins.When I told him that my change was short, he apologized and went back to get the rest of my change. I should have deducted from the tip that I was planning to giveI gave him a larger tip then what was suggested on the bill.I don't plan on visiting this location again.

Ordered online the way how they have them customer picking up their orders is ridiculous I had to wait over an hour for my food be remade manager think he smart by saying we trust the people we know no one took the order but he did mention it seems like or they forgot to make my food had my kids and waiting to eat 1:30
I called ahead of time. Repeated my order twice because although the order is written correctly, the people cooking on the back seem to miss the details! I didn't want anymore surprises when I got home.
