I saw a sign on the door saying they will be permanently closing October 1, which is a real shame. The prices are great, the sushi was delicious, and the staff was as friendly as can be. Not the nicest place ever to sit down for a meal, but nothing wrong with that either. Come check this place out while you still can, I enjoyed myself a lot!

We love Kome Sushi! After getting takeout from here one time, we weren't able to go back to our previous go-to sushi spot in Columbia because this place is better. The quality and taste of the sushi has never let us down, and the staff is so friendly. They regularly throw in a free sushi roll to our order, and we are so glad to have them nearby. Service is always fast and they are great at accommodating food allergies (gluten).Dietary restrictions: Great at accommodating gluten allergies (you can swap imitation crab for real crab and soy sauce for GF soy sauce). Lots of roll options that do not have crunch or tempura.

This was our first time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised! The clear and vegetable soups were flavorful. The yellowtail and smoked salmon sushi was very fresh and buttery in consistency. We also had the Amazing Tuna and Spicy Girl rolls that were equally delicious. With the addition of hot house sake and a beer, it broke down to being about $35 a person. We certainly will be back!

I recently did a catering order from Kome for a school appreciation lunch. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. They prepared my order on time. Prices are reasonable compared to a lot of sushi places. We eat here all the time for regular orders and their catering was excellent too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I think this was my 3rd or 4th time ordering take out from here. The food is great, the prices are fair. I’ve been lucky each time to find a free veggie roll in my order. My only suggestion is to add more veggie options to the sushi (especially vegetarian rolls). I would love to see carrot, bell pepper, etc as options.

The sushi is SO good. They prepared it really fast for takeout, prices are very reasonable-- all in all a great experience. I ordered a mix of vegetarian and fish rolls but they have a terrific selection of vegetarian rolls with things I haven't seen elsewhere, and they are actually good (I've experienced the disappointment of veggie rolls many times, as lots of places treat them like a flavorless afterthought. Not here!). I wish I lived closer-- I'd be getting sushi from here all the time. Love this place!

I ordered some sushi, super delicious! Hubby ordered Chicken Hibachi and other than his usual comment that food is a little to salty he said it was good. They gave us a small side salad, the dressing was not very good... but overall they do have good food.

I don't know why Kome Sushi isn't more busy. I came in for dinner on a weekday and there was hardly anyone there. The food came fast. It was fresh and delicious. The menu had a variety of rolls and other options. Kome will definitely see me again when I'm in the area.
The staff were so nice and helpful when I ordered a to go order for myself and my girlfriend, and the food is some of the best japanese food I have had in a long time. I ordered the Dynamite Shrimp, Chicken Lo Mein, Chicken Gyoza and it was incredible. Definitely now my favorite spot!

This restaurant is fantastic. Don't wait too long to visit. It's legit. It is located In small shopping center in columbia Maryland. It didn't have much ambience as i came in almost at closing. Do it was empty. However i noticed lots of carry outs Easy parking. Place is super clean. Service fast and everyone very attentive. Food was just the best. Flavorful. Fresh. Beautifully presented. We got seafood soup. It's filled with veggie and seafood. Sashimi platter was amazing. Fresh and selection of fish was amazing. And crab and cucumber salad. Omg. So flavorful and pretty large serving. Shrimp udon was a huge plate. Flavorful and about 7-8 shrimp in it. We also got complimentary yellow tail carpaccio and it was one of the best versions i ever had. I strongly recommend this restaurant. It's quiet. But it's very yummy and has large menu. Plus warm sake was also amazing. Hon appetite .

Solid Chinese-owned sushi place. Large space with ample seating, the sushi and sashimi offerings are fairly standard- 4 types of fish. The chirashi lacked visual appeal and presentation. That said, proces are good and food very affordable.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The fish is fresh, quality is consistent, portion is large (very good fish to rice ratio in rolls), and the prices are reasonable, even after COVID. We have dined in and ordered take-out for many times (30-50?) now, and still haven't got tired of it. We have tried many sushi restaurants in the Columbia/Rockville area and always still come back to our favorite one Kome.
