This place is the worst except maybe main event next door....!!! Chicken fajitas was cold an all wrong! Could not get order right nor did they even care about making it right! They brought fajitas with no tortillas an basically had me sit there until I finally left I ordered fajitas not a cold plate of chicken....was actually disrespectful!

Delicious food at Uncle Julio’s! We really came for the drinks and they didn’t disappoint! The Spicy Pina was excellent. It was sweet and it had a kick of alcohol and spice. Also give the fajitas a try. They smell and taste great.

If your going to eat in the restaurant the food is decent and so is the service. Never order it to go or from Uber or any delivery service because they take over a hour to deliver. And then if you can’t wait they still charge you for the food.Avoid avoid avoid

The staff made our meal so pleasurable. Our waitress was terrific and managers roaming the dining room checked on us a couple times during dinner. Our meals arrived quickly and perfectly prepared. Such a wonderful and professional restaurant.

I’ve only been here once before, but Rachel was my bartender today. Her service was great! And the drinks were just right! Both times were fun, and I’ll 100% keep coming back! Will surely ask for her as well :)

Check your to-go orders, they are inconsistent. Missing guacamole the 2nd time. Look at the difference in the orders over only a 2 week span.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants so of course while I was in the mall with my family I always suggest this Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was busy on a late Saturday night however, they are always very accommodating to our family with a short wait time. The staff is always attentive and friendly. I absolutely LOVE the made to order homemade guacamole which is super delicious. The food is great and this time we tried the yummy churros as a dessert. I will absolutely return and return again.

EDIT 3/22/24Apparently if you want to eat here, you'll need to make a reservation some time in advance. We decided last minute to make a reservation via Google, and the Maps showed that there was a spot for 4 available at 645PM.I don't know if there was a Glitch in their system or what, but when we got to the hostess table, we were told that "Since you made your reservation 10min ago, we have to get those who made reservations before you seated first" like a Seinfeld episode. A reservation shows availability. It's not supposed to be a substitute for a waitlist. We took our business to PF Changs which had tables readily available (and really affordable kids menus with kids menus you can color!)OLD REVIEWMy husband and I have been here many times and have had good experiences overall, but tonight was a remarkably bad one. We invited two friends to go with us.I don't know if our server was having a bad day or what, but Vanessa was aloof, curt, and impatient with us. She didn't double check to confirm our choices, didn't offer dessert, and didn't ask us how the food was (the manager who came by later did though). She took our orders and periodically checked on us every 15min or so. If I remember correctly, all she brought were our waters and the checks. Other servers and the managers brought us everything else.We were a simple table, ordering two skirt steak fajitas for two people each, and three drinks, one of them a Happy Hour Frozen Margarita/Sangria.We were there during Happy Hour (around 5ish) and our drinks came out after our food, but our food came out quickly today. I didn't see any Happy Hour food options though, just drink ones, so that's probably why.I was not impressed with our skirt steak. Both of us ordered medium rare and both of our orders were overcooked. The flavor was still good, but a little tough. We sat there for around 10-15 min waiting for our tortillas after telling Vanessa that we didn't have them. I think a manager came out with some servers and brought them herself and asked us how we were doing. We were seated at the tables closest to the windows in the front of the store by the Barnes and Noble, past the bar. The music is very loud in this section. My friends, husband and I had to repeat ourselves many times. Also the tables are really small if everyone is planning on ordering fajitas.Because of the conversation we were all having, I forgot to ask Vanessa about the restaurants military discount (if there is a way to add a loyalty member with a military affiliation that would be great). When she came back with the check, I asked her, and she said "It's honestly not that much...just a couple of dollars" like she didn't want to run the check again. During a busy time I completely understand, but she said it, like much of her interactions with us, in a flat, disinterested tone of voice, barely maintaining eye contact, and borderline disrespectful. At a table with 3 active duty members and a veteran, her apathy to apply the discount was off putting. She also said she couldn't split the check 3 ways.I think my husband and I will be back at some point, especially since the Annapolis location gave him food poisoning, but are going to try other places before considering coming back.

I went to this establishment for the first time on Saturday just before noon with my boyfriend and our mutual friend. Overall a mixed experience, I'll explain below.Atmosphere: this is the best quality of the restaurant. It is an absolutely gorgeous space. Very clean, almost date night level of elegance. Not typical for most Mexican restaurants, and a nice change of pace. The seats were comfortable, I love the glassware and the aesthetic, overall a 10 out of 10 in this regard.Service: this was decent, wasn't terrible but wasn't super great either. Our waitress was a very nice lady, do not get me wrong there. Very personable. It's just that she'd really didn't check on our table too often, and it just felt like everything took slower than you would expect. From getting the chips and salsa, to receiving our order, to receiving refills, it just kind of felt sluggish. Definitely not the worst service I've ever had, just a little slower. A manager did come by right after our drinks were filled to see how we're doing, but because it was so early in service we only could say it "seems decent so far". Overall, this could be better but it was definitely not terrible.Food: sadly this is the restaurant's weakest link. So for starters, it's a very barebones menu. And when I mean barebones, I mean very very generic Mexican dishes. So like very basic enchiladas, basic tacos, basic fajitas. Nothing special, kind of gives off "standard taco night at home" vibes for lack of better word. I ordered 2 hard chicken tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were perfectly decent. Decent amount of chicken, decent amount of cheese, so on. The flavor wasn't really there. Like it had salt and pepper, but no other seasoning. Very very very basic. I will say their signature hot sauce is very good, and definitely helps. But that is what really carried the dish. The rice was okay, the beans were okay, nothing's the right home about. The chips and salsa for the table were also decent, but again very basic. I'm not trying to belittle the efforts of the kitchen, but it's definitely a very very slim generic Mexican menu. Even smaller than mom and pop shops or more authentic Mexican restaurants you may go to. Oh also the prices are very expensive for the amount of food you get.In conclusion, a very nice restaurant to bring a date to, but unfortunately the food does not do anything for me.

BEST chips I have everrrr had. Made from scratch they are thin & crispy. I received them warm like freshly made. And the salt on them....pmG purrrrrfect. Yes!I had the steak fajita quesadillas. The slaw & guac was bomb. The quesadilla was not on the traditional burrito or tortilla. It was much smaller triangular cuts & the cheese was lacking. Thiught it would ooze instead cheese was missing on pieces. It was more of a crunchy quesadilla than im used to.
