Came to get fish and chips for Easter weekend. The fish and chips were very good. Crispy fish was very tasty but could have been better seasoned. I had the honey old wings which were the best wings I've had in sometime. They were the right level of sweetness and the old bay was not overpowering. Perfectly balanced appetizer. My rating is based on service. Our drinks weren't very cold. She we ordered we asked to have the wings brought out first but everything came at once. Tables say unbussed and it was distracting. They only were cleared if they needed to seat someone. Upside is the server was nice but overwhelmed due to lack of staffing.

My wife and I go every time we are in Columbia attending concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Even when the place is busy and packed, we have never had bad service or anything bad to eat. You will not go wrong at Union Jack's!

Met some friends here on a Saturday for lunch. We started off with an order of pretzels with cheese sauce and fried pickles. Both appetizers were delish! For entrees, I went with the chicken tenders and an order of fries. I really liked batter on the tenders, it gave them a nice crisp. The fries were just meh. My fiancé ordered off the brunch menu and got the Crème brûlée French toast. He said it was "surprisingly delicious." All entree portions were very large that most of us left with a box in hand. There are some pool tables and darts near the back of the restaurant- def a good place to get a group together!

I hosted a party of 9 and Gary the manager along with staff couldn't have been nicer. We requested a private room and were put in one, knowing that there may be other dinner guests joining us. We were fortunate to have the room to ourselves. The food and wine were delicious. If you are looking for a private room setting, I would highly recommend them. Other restaurants wouldn't take my reservation, had a minimum number for their private space, and also charged room rental making it impossible for my group. Union Jack's was able to work with me. We will be back!

I held my Retirement ceremony and dinner at Union Jacks this past Friday. Cynthia and Niki provided me with excellent communication for the events and they were very flexible when the snowstorm altered some of the planning. Greg was very accommodating during the ceremony setup, and Erica was an outstanding waitress during both events. We had roughly 60 people and all had great things to say. Great staff, great atmosphere! Their Fish N' Chips are delicious.

Do you feel like getting in a bar fight? Watching young girls bicker? Be surrounded by underage drinkers? Having dudes all up in your personal space? Paying incredibly overpriced cover charges or ticket prices to enter mediocre events? Cold food? Warm drinks? Getting caught off-guard with a serving charge? Watch bouncers manhandle patrons via throwing them over the fence? Watching upset patrons deal with arrogant managers? Seeing women urinate in sinks (not joking)? Then come on in for the show. "Happy Hour" is Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM and includes $3.00 SELECT domestic beer bottles, $4 rails, $4 SELECT craft beer pints and $5 wines. If you want something a bit more risqué, please venture in for the infamous "late night happy hour" where you can meet the crazies of Columbia, Maryland with a side of your selected pour: $3 rails, $4 SELECT craft beer pints, $4 wines, $5 buckets of white claw (warned you about the crazies) or corona, and $20 meal specials of whatever they feel like unfreezing for you that night. They offer live music on Friday and Saturday starting at 8:00 PM and brunch on the weekend starting at 11:00 AM. Divey, cold and a bit creepy. As the British would say, "Bloody hell," you've been warned.

Decent beer and food selection. Had the fish and chips which was good. Not really that many true English selections of the food variety, so I wouldn't go there looking for an authentic Brit experience, but it's a nice enough pub with a good atmosphere.

We decided to spend New Years here. We paid 80 dollars a ticket. The food was pretty good but came out cold. The drinks were warm as well. We asked for a bucket to get them cold. We had a great time but while paying our bill we noticed different gratuity added. They told us it was a serving charge. On top of the tip. When we asked to have it taken off because that was not part of the price the manager did but was condescending. When leaving our waiter Calvin told us to "f off". I would never attend an event there again or has Calvin as a waiter. We did tip him nicely, which was the sad part

Large group arriving after a memorial event at Howard Community College. They gave us a private room and an kept the kitchen open to server food. Manny was the primary waiter and he was swamped but friendly and efficient. We all had a great time and sincerely appreciate them allowing us to eat and drink even though we were pushing hard against their closing time.

I’m leaving rather disappointed, grew up in Leeds England and I saw a review said the fish and chips tasted the same. It isn’t true. For $20, I had to ask for salt to add any flavor at all. ? Maybe one day someone will actually bring over the authentic fried greasy epic recipe- that is supposed to be just a few bucks!
