“This is my go to place for chinese food. Anytime friends or family come over, they always want to order from here. The service is fast and friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. I regularly order the dumplings, lo mein, broccoli in brown sauce, and shrimp with peppers and onions. Always amazing!“

“The food has consistently been great, but it sometimes seems like they're understaffed for the amount of volume they get. I've tried to mobile order through DoorDash twice and gotten a "This location is busy" message with refusal of my order. I went inside about a month or two ago and there was nobody available to serve me in person because the person who would normally do it happened to still be on their break. Also it wasn't communicated in their hours that they would be closing early on July 4th when I went that day, I showed up to the store and saw a bunch of people still visibly in it and working but the drivethrough wasn't taking orders and the door was locked, pretty frustrating.“

“Have been going there for years, family agrees out of all the local Asian Cuisine one feels the most authentic!Every time all the time the same dishes for us but that's and we aren't brave enough to try something different because they just always do the dishes we like to justice.Pickled cabbage, Beef Casselrole, Fried Squid, Chowfun, and a few others!You also don't find many places owing up to their mistakes and apologizing to the customer. “My "small" lo mein was closer to a med/large. They filled a small, and it was so full they double packed it in another container. Hospitality was top-notch, so warm and inviting to my family. We orderd combo lo mein, cream cheese wonton, and sautéed carrots/brocc. Delicious!“

“I have been coming to Szechuann for years and years. Just recently came for their happy hour (4-7) for the first time and it did not disappoint. Fantastic sushi selection on the happy hour menu. Every roll was delicious, as always. Friendly and attentive bartender, delicious cocktails, $4 beers. The atmosphere is relaxing. Staff even took a picture for my friend and I. My only recommendation is that they bring back the spicy red sauce on top of the baked Dynamite roll. Thank you all! See you soon.“

“4.5/5. Nothing too fancy, just good take-out Chinese. I had the chicken broccoli and chicken lo mien with an order of spring rolls (2). Best I've had in the area so far. They cooked the chicken and broccoli to my expectations. The spring rolls were crisp and packed full of veggies. I enjoyed the lo mien. After trying a few places in the Laurel-Severn area which were disappointing... I will definitely be back to try more dishes in the future.“

“I went here with my son's family on a recent visit and really enjoyed it. The seafood was so fresh and the soup and salad were very good. Being all you can eat, it was a little hard not to overdo it. The service was excellent, and they gave my two year old granddaughter the attention she wanted. French fries or Fried Rice with Mayonnaise and ketchup. And the lady there takes detail of everyone of her customers orders. So if you like a regular she knows what you want when you get in there. “The best Chinese food for miles. They have good vegetarian options and are usually accurate with special orders. The delivery drivers seem to have been the same few people for years, they bring the food warm and they're professional. Don't forget to tip.Vegetarian options: Many dishes available in vegetarian options, the tofu is cooked well, and there are dishes that are typically meat based that you can find a vegetarian version of on the menu.“

“I was craving Chinese food and Google led me to this place. Love the way the place looks. very cozy and have friendly staff. The food not only looks good but it was very tasty and not to mention the price is very affordable. I just wished they gave more of a potion on the rice.“

“Ordered lunch today and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and large portions. We ordered takeout, shortly after my husband picked up we received a call letting us know something was missing and they’d deliver it right away. They didn’t have to do that, but went out of their way to make sure we were happy customers and we absolutely are!“

“We had the steak egg rolls and Singapore rice noodles (combination). The Singapore rice noodles were the best I've ever had anywhere, and I've tried this dish at many restaurants in the past, as it's one of my favorites. We also shared sushi, which was very tasty. The portions were all large enough to share. I would recommend this place and I'll definitely be going back when I'm in the area again.“

“We've been coming to Fortune Cooky since the late 1990's. They've remodeled, changed their menu, changed their staff, and changed their prices. What they haven't done is change the quality. Our favorite dishes are the General Tso's Chicken, the Fortune Cooky Special (which is like a Happy Family), the egg foo young, and the Kung Pao Chicken. We love exploring other items on the menu to see which ones we might like. Today, we tried Szechuan chicken. It was spicy, but didn't have a whole lot of flavor. In the past, we've ordered bourbon chicken, pad Thai, and chicken with broccoli. These dishes were very good, as well. They have great lunch and dinner specials and, if you order carry-out, they offer coupons for additional free items based on how much you spend. In today's economy, that's a value-add that I can appreciate.“

“I usually get their mongolian beef but tonight ordered first taste (things I'd never had) so Fried Wonton (10) and C15. Szechuan Beef combo it was! Both hit. I requested chow mein noodles instead of fried rice for my combo. The noodles weren't crispy so I think they gave me lo mein noodles instead but STILL...it hit just right. Spice level on point and they customized to my requests. I am not a fan of overcooked veggies, as is the norm with chinese food here, so i always opt out of cabbage, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and carrots. I was expecting just onions and green peppers but they surprised me by adding string beans (not over cooked) that tasted rather fresh. For those who haven't had fried wonton, the filling is the same used for dumplings and comes with a dipping sauce. Well seasoned, not overcooked filling. Very crispy wonton. I think this is my new fav appetizer for Chinese restaurants. The only negative was the eggroll that came with the combo. It had zero flavor. How can ya mess up an egg roll? lol My fried wonton made up for it.“

“We have patronized this family for 24 years, at their first location in Arnold and have now continued with them in Severna Park. Good food, good prices, and very accommodating. They have an orange beef dish that is good, but as a vegetarian, they are happy to make it for me as a delicious Orange Tofu (see photo) even though it isn't on the menu. “Small mom and pop that serves good Chinese food at decent prices. They have that really sweet red chicken wing sauce I've only ever seen elsewhere in DC. I don't like it so I can't comment on the taste. Staff is friendly but I recommend you call ahead as sometimes it gets busy.“
