We stopped into Charis Winery & Distillery on a whim, and are very glad we did. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a couple of flights and ended up buying two bottles.

I've been there several times and they are always friendly. They have great products. I always leave with something! It's well worth stopping in for a visit, and the location is really cool.

What a nice place! There's not just a nice selection of wine here but they also are a distillery with a wide selection of flavored vodka and whiskeys. Everything is made on site. Very impressive!!

We hadn’t been here in years and it was so nice to come back and visit. We did a tasting and the wines didn’t disappoint. I left with 3 bottles ?We also left with the adult slushy, which is delicious. The gal in charge is fabulous! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Great little place for a tasting. They have olive oil and vinegar also! Adequate seating inside and outside.

?? The internationally award-winning Charis Winery and Distillery located in The Canal Place Shops of downtown historic Cumberland, Maryland should be a definite stop if you’re in the area! Chuck, the owner, gave us a wonderful tasting of all of the delicious wine and spirits he offers! We also shared some good stories and laughs together during our visit; it was like we had know each other for a lifetime. Chuck was also so kind to give Bill a retirement gift, even though we had just met us! Thank you so much for the great and memorable experience at your amazing establishment! ??

We loved the wines because of their unique flavor. I'm a dry wine girl, and their wine was fruity without the sugar. It's amazing how you can make wine taste that good! They also had a specially dry dessert wine that we ended up purchasing because you cannot find that anywhere else! We will definitely stop by next time we are in the area :)

We were out on the 4th with our family and came upon this cute winery. The owner was fun to talk with and very informative. The olive oils and vinegars were delicious and we tried the slushie, a wine tasting and an IPA. The Bounce was new to us and we enjoyed trying the flavors. All in all a great experience and a very hospitable owner.

Great place for drinks in Cumberland. We had a peach/vanilla vodka slushy. We recommend this place for sure!

Wine slushies and live music were a perfect way to end the day. Great service, great products. It's definitely worth your patronage.

Fantastic service, the wine is all amazing. They do have a Groupon which is a great deal and if you check in on Yelp, they give you 10% off any purchase coupon. Definitely ask for Seduction, which is not listed on their menu, it's mine and my husbands favorite wine they make. Their patio is perfect for sipping on a beautiful spring or summer day. Walk across the way to European desserts for a meal to compliment the wine and you have the perfect day!

Excellent family owned and run winery and bonus, they also serve a delicious pizza!!! One of the owners, Chuck, was so kind as to make our three pizzas ahead of time, so that they were ready exactly when we arrived! Also, kind people-- before they even knew that I might end being a customer, they let me use their restroom ( as the visitor center was closed for the evening). My only regret is that I was unable to taste any wine, due to a long drive ahead! Great outdoor eating space too!

First off the smell when you go in is off putting….must be the oils they have. The staff seemed like they could care less to be there. We had a flight to get a tasting. All were barely drinkable. Cute location wanted it to be great but unfortunately not.
