Doesn't look like much on the outside but the coffee is hot and really good and the food is delicious!

We went for a late breakfast and had the western omelette, which was excellent, and oddly named dish (can't remember the name) with potatoes, mushrooms, onions, peppers and scrambled eggs. Perfecto. Service A-OK.

Saturday special of chipped beef gravy and home fries on the grill hits the spot every time. And I love the cheesesteak subs, pizza, and half price spaghetti Wednesdays.

Today was the first time I have ever had food from Joe's Viaduct and I have lived in Cumberland my whole life. I've always heard the food was good but I just never got around to trying it. I got the roast beef and gravy dinner with seasoned potato wedges and applesauce and my girlfriend got a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of ham and bean soup. The roast beef and gravy was good, not great but good. The roast beef was tender but the gravy was bland. The seasoned potato wedges were seasoned good and both were nice and hot. The applesauce though, was terrible. The grilled cheese was just a grilled cheese, nothing much to say there but, the ham and bean soup, she said was really good. We didn't eat in the restaurant but when I picked it up, the people were friendly. The place is very small, but clean. Overall, it was good and I will definitely try something from there again.

This is a really nice, “Mom and Pop” style diner that serves up decent food at reasonable prices. The service here is really good, and if you are lucky enough to stop by there while they have their homemade potato soup on the menu, I STRONGLY recommend you try a bowl, Miss Joanne makes an EXCELLENT potato soup, among many other fine dishes... Then, after you have a good meal, you can step into the next room, which is the Liquor Store, and purchase any Adult Beverages you’d ever care to indulge, as well as playing the lottery, keno, scratch-offs, etc. etc.
