We go here every time we visit family in Maryland.It can get a little loud but the place is immaculate. Always so clean.The food is enjoyable and the people are friendly.The little bakery section is always good :)

Thereis an old lady there that is very unpleasant with costomer. I order one crab cake plater and she gave me one crab sandwich. Evethough the young lady who took the order told her I order the platter nor a sandwich, she did not want to change it. To make things even worse shet said that the sandwich and the platter were the same. What is a plain lie, because even the price is higher for the platter.This the third time I have an issue with this old woman. I just no going back any more, and recommend to check that this woman really gives you what you pay for.Sorry for the bussness, since it changed the owner, that woman is making this restauran to a very disagreeable experience.

We had good food and it was very friendly people to help you in this cafe. I will recommend this place and I will go back again. It was laid back and the food was fresh and the portions were more than enough for me. I forgot to take pictures of the food because I was impressed with the artwork and how the seating areas were designed. Good job!

Unique sort of operation. You order food at counter and then they give it to you or seat yourself and they bring it. Food was pretty good but I'll try something different next time. Update: food is getting better, fries are perfect.

South County Cafe offers fresh breakfast selections in a quaint and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and the food is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at South County Cafe, and we have been very pleased each time. Whatever you do, get the crispy breakfast potatoes. They are crunchy and delicious!!!
Rockfish Sandwich was so dry and tasteless, Fish and Chips thesame - gross really. Grilled Vegetarian sandwich, 4 slices of mushrooms maybe 8 pieces of spinach - all bread so lame. Vegetarians steer clear. (of course) The burger was okay. It was such a drag tohave such bad food bc it was a lunch for a sick person who just wanted a good meal. Huge bummer never ordering lunch again. Perhaps take out was a bad idea but after covid you'd think everyone would have that nailed.

This is a cute little breakfast/lunch spot! You can eat inside or outside! Staff were really nice, especially since it was our first time there and not knowing what to order! This was our first time there! We got the omelette with home fries and blueberry pancakes. The omelette and home fries were seasoned well! The home fries had a surprisingly and deliciously slight crisp to it! Normally that isn't expected, but the crisp was a nice surprise! The blueberry pancakes were great! The pancakes were nice and fluffy and the blueberries were fresh and a nice handful in each one! The grits were great and not dry! I hope to go again and try their lunch menu out.

Fun find in Deale. Twice a week I have to go to Lothian for grandchild’s school and have 90 minutes until I can head home. Delighted to find the cafe! Food is very good! Plenty of seating! We have already been repeat customers for breakfast and lunch!
