My daughter and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Donna's Tavern and Restaurant for a special daddy-daughter date night, and it was an experience we'll cherish forever. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond to make my princess feel like royalty. The special event menus, thoughtfully designed for both young princesses and their adult counterparts, catered perfectly to our tastes and added a unique touch to our evening. The service was exceptional, with all the ladies working that night contributing to a magical atmosphere that made our special date even more memorable. The attention to detail, from the decor to the food presentation, was impeccable, ensuring that both the little ones and adults had a fantastic time.I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Donna's Tavern and Restaurant for making our daddy-daughter date night so special. The effort put into creating a welcoming and enchanting experience for families is truly appreciated. We can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories.Highly recommended for any dads looking to make their little girls feel like princesses for a night. Thank you, Donna's Tavern and Restaurant, for giving us such a precious evening.

I got there at 230 today for a round of drinks and lunch and was told "what do I want" and that they didn't open until 3 when on Google snd Facebook it says they open at 2. Not very friendly staff.

Food took 1 and a half hours to come out when it came out the food was cold and was bad I don't recommend this restaurant if you want good food

Well done for a neighborhood dive turned nouveau restaurant. You can’t go wrong with certain dishes such as the variety of pierogi found on the menu, pizzas are decent (just not the clam pizza), this place is recommended.

Didn't think that I'd be home this early or be this sober... I learned some powerful lessons today: 1 - don't go against your better judgement. I read the Yelp reviews. I ignored them. I shouldn't have done that. We walked to Donna's to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, so that he could drink and not have to worry about driving home. SEVEN crushes in he was still sober enough for church, or meeting your mom, or whatever it is that sober people do. 2 - When the wait staff tells you they can't find any of the alcohol because the owner "rearranged the bottles this morning" it means the owner came in this morning and watered down all the bottles. Thankfully we weren't there simply for the drinks. We met with friends, who also had an "interesting" time, shall we say. One of my girlfriends was forced to smell the armpit of one of the band members when he came to get drinks at the bar. Although there was plenty of room for him to receive service, he still needed to drape himself over her in a way that was incredibly unwanted, and could have qualified as assault. When she and several people mentioned how rude he was, instead of apologizing, he then proceeded to act like he was going to spill his drinks all over her. I don't know how the cops aren't always there, breaking up fights... maybe because the drinks are so watered down that tempers don't flair? Ah... the band... if you can call it that. Two dudes playing guitars. No drums. No bass. Playing all the tunes that the rest of the patrons could shout along to, and dance around with their Coronas. 3 - Sometimes it's just better to stick with drinks that can't be tampered with by the bar owner. Get something that comes in a bottle. (though most of us don't drink beer, so...) The food was decent. The woman running the kitchen is a sweetheart. Told us all about how they used to have 99 flavors of wings (there's a plaque by the front door!) until Covid, and then she started running out of ingredients. 4 - Covid is a great excuse to use when you decide to start cutting corners in order to increase profit. Donna's not going to continue to buy the ingredients for all those sauces and rubs when she can get away with 15 different flavors. The real stinger came when we were trying to leave and someone had parked on the ONLY cut-curb. My boyfriend went inside to tell someone on the staff, thinking they could make an announcement and get the owner to move the vehicle. Except that a average build, bleached blonde, middle-aged woman came out, stood at the top of the steps, and made sure to correct my boyfriend for not mentioning the color of HER vehicle (ummm why does any of that matter, honey? I'm not impressed that you drive a black vehicle) before asking what was wrong --- as I sat there, in plain view in my wheelchair. What the heck is the point of having that beautiful ramp into the business if you're going to block the only way on or off the property? After being informed of the issue, she got into her vehicle and parked it in her own private parking spot, along the side of the building. Ahhh... so THIS must be the infamous Donna!! What a gem! What a delight! What an absolute horror of a business owner!! Please people DO NOT PATRONIZE this place.

... redacted... The food was mediocre at best and the only positive thing about the experience was that the cook lady, who's dutied included tending bar and waiting on us since none of the other staff was anywhere around. The booze is watered in the bottles. our friends could taste it in the shots they ordered (SERIOUSLY, who waters shots?!?) And I promise you if I had encountered this next part after the seven drinks I paid for somebody woulda been in jail. Upon attempting to leave we found a Hyundai SUV parked squarely on the cut curb, thus blocking wheelchair access to the property completely. I told the staff that someone had parked on the cut curb and that my wife couldn't fucking leave. When the rude employee finally came out she quipped in her snotty voice "It's a BLACK Hyundai". I never specified a color but I guess being "Right" about something allowed her to anneal the existential pain of being such an absolutely garbage human being. I don't know. What I do know is that no one at all should give this absolute shitwagon of a place any money at all.
