“I love this place. I'm a contractor and go to the dump frequently. Every time I do go to the dump I stop by and get some pit beef. Not only those times but I also take my kids to the go-kart place which is in the same parking lot. Pit me for me fun for my kids what else can you ask. Very reasonable prices.“
“Miss Erica's Kitchen is me & my Wife's favorite little local black owned establishment. Miss Erica is so nice, whenever we call in our breakfast order: The Miss Erica Slam(Wife) & the Fish & Grits(me) she knows exactly who we are. I now tell her: it's your favorite couple. Lol. The establishment is on the smaller side so I never see anyone eating inside, it's more of a carry out feel although there is a table & space in the restaurant for more if they choose to do so. That said, what they lack in space, they make up in deliciousness.I've tried a few things: 1.) Fish & Grits is my breakfast favorite & that sauce on top of the fish is top tier.2.) Lamb chops? Fire. 3.) Cheesesteak & fries? Delicious. 4.) Fried Porkchops? Some of the best I've EVER had. 5.) Miss Erica's slam should have a picture of my wife next to it on the menu bc she loves it. 6.) Chopped Fish sub? Chef's kiss. Erica thanked us once for frequenting so much, commenting that as a business owner in the food energy, she never knows how people truly feel about her style of cooking. If you're reading this, Erica, your cooking is filled with so much soul, from the way you season to the freshness and you should never question how delicious it is, bc honestly, it's better than a lot of the bigger establishments if not all of them. We'll definitely keep coming back.“
“Their coffee is quite good (been a return customer for some time!), adequately priced, and the staff has always been lovely. Keep in mind it’s cash only!* Anyone complaining about “modesty” needs to calm down and acknowledge that they chose to go! If you don’t like it, go get trash at Starbucks & don’t whine about something that literally isn’t for you. Not to mention, I’ve never seen anyone in less than a bikini/one piece suit. “The first time I had Salty Dog crabs I was at a crab feast with a group of friends. The crabs were so good, meaty, and big (size medium). I was excitingly satisfied with them. Every last crab my friends and I had were meaty and nicely sized. None of us had not one bad crab. I found out that the crabs came from Salty Dogs in Dundalk, in Baltimore, MD. I live in Oxon Hill, Maryland, which is an hour away. Although, I am close to the Wharf in DC, Captain Whites, and other good crab locations, I drive all the way to Baltimore just to get me some Salty Dogs. They haven't disappointed me yet! So, I will continue to take that drive to satisfy my taste buds. Try them! You'll keep wanting Salty Dog crabs!“
