What a great little place! The service was wonderful; we had questions about the menu and they were incredibly patient with us. They were smiling, kind, and efficient. I got the open faced pit beef. My husband ordered a chili cheese hot dog. Both came with fries. It was all delicious and the portions were generous. It is a small place with just a few tables but most people were carrying out. We ate in. It was clean and we did not feel rushed. The owner came over to check the satisfaction with our meal. Highly recommend, and we plan to come back.

It wasn't my choice but I enjoyed my meal. The cashier was new and in training yet very pilot and tried to be thorough. There was a constant flow of customers which was a good sign for me, a first timer. There's a couple tables for eating in, which we did. It was clean and stocked with supplies & condiments. It wasn't "fast food" but it was hot & fresh when it came out. We all loved the fries!! My Smashburger was tall and tasty! I'd go again; saw some things, salads & such, I'd like to try. You should too.

Somebody ordered catering for us from this place and I picked it up. It was absolutely delicious and a huge hit. I'm thinking about corned beef sandwich right now!!!Update 2/11/24: still awesome!!!

I wish I could give better stars, order food online, order was not as ordered. Food was cold and not that good. Asked for sides of mayo and tiger sauce, I got one tiger sauce. This place used to be amazing, not anymore, $100 wasted. I tried calling and was put on hold for a good 10 minutes.

Pitt ham, turkey, and beef with the fixings. For under $10 you get enough meat for two sandwiches. They sell doggie scrap bags too. The catering is out of this world. Great for any party. A lot of food for the price. You won't be disappointed.

This was the worst pit beef sandwich I've ever had. The beef must have been drenched in water because it was incredibly wet but completely devoid of flavor. At first I thought it was the natural juices dripping from the beef, but it was flavorless. This wetness soaked the bun, mayo, and horseradish so that after picking up the sandwich a few times, the bun had completely broken down in my hands and now was a sloppy mess. The beef itself was stringy and fatty, which made it unenjoyable. The French fries served along with the pit beef had an abnormal taste, like they had been washed in vinegar, which is bizarre because most pit beef places have solid French fries. Not sure what kind of oil they are using in their fryer, but either empty out the old oil in the fryers or change the brand you use. I also found it strange that they serve their onions in cellophane. It leaves one wondering if the onions are cut fresh or if they are just stored in the fridge for long periods of time. The sauces were ok, but the Tiger sauce needs a serious overhaul. Finally, the meal was expensive for a sandwich and fries! I don't think I would ever come back for pit beef.
Omg we found this hidden gem while out looking for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint. It's situated in a small neighborhood area so you may pass it but we found it and during the time it was. It busy at all. All the food is cooked fresh and prices are within reason. I ordered wings and my hubby ordered chopped cheese (cheesesteak) and fries. We both had plenty left over so that is always a place. It's a small quaint restaurant but the staff was great and even provided samples of homemade items to try. This is another spot on our list when we return.

I am hardly ever in this area so when I found out I would be in Dundalk today, I immediately Googled nearby restaurants. I took a chance on Smokin' Joe's and it did not disappoint! I got the beef platter with fries. I asked for no bread, extra gravy and provolone cheese on the beef. It all exceeded my expectations. From the customer service to the food 5 stars. The beef was cooked perfectly (med well) and they did everything I asked. My daughter got the Texas Burger and she said it was also delicious. I will be back!!! ?

We go here anytime we are in dundalk I love stopping here and getting the bbq pulled pork sandwichParking: Not much parking at the store but you can park on the side road if u have a big truck just past the restaurant
