We have been buying seafood here for years and it has always been fresh. The salmon and shrimp are exceptionally good!They also sell frozen meat from a local butcher and other items to go with a meal.

Will never be purchasing anything from Captains Catch in Easton Maryland I bought 2 lbs of backfin lump over $36 for each and when I opened one dumped it in my crab dip it was backfin and the second one was regular crab meat someone had switched lids! I immediately called and let them know and was told I don’t know how that could happen we don’t carry regular crab meat. I come here from Florida to visit family have bought from there before but never again!They better check their crab meat! People open the lids before you drive away!

I've bought 1/2 peck's of oysters from other markets and they'll stay closed and fresh in a brown bag in my fridge for two weeks. Got two dozen from this place, some looked meh, ate a dozen, next day a bunch were open and tossed them. Next week didn't feel so hot. Not liking to go to doctors waited a few weeks before I knew something was really wrong. Not one, not two, but THREE different types of parasites. Talbot County Board of Health had to be notified by my doctor. There are other places in Easton that actually sell fresh seafood. Stay away from this overpriced tourist trap.

Captain's Ketch has a step into their store that's 10" high. They have a sign that says watch the step. It's dangerous to all. Yesterday I arrived after an elderly man and his grandson. The grandson held the door for me (I'm a woman) and his grandfather took a terrible fall after tripping on this step and fell hard on his face. Nobody who worked there came to his immediate rescue, just myself, his grandson and another customer. Shameful! Then the female staff behind the counter called a guy out. He helped the elderly man, at this point having his nose bleed and his eye swollen, who helped him up and eventually brought him water and ice for his face. I felt terrible for the man and paid for 2 lbs of salmon for him! The staff and owner offered nothing!!! The most horrible place!!! Never buy anything from them. Not only should this step be fixed the owners should be held accountable. I told everybody I know, this is a small town, and this post. SHAME ON YOU! HORRIBLE PEOPLE!

I rarely write reviews, but only do so when a local business is truly exceptional. I have been using Captain's Catch on and off since moving to the Easton area since 2013. Their secret is their service, it is an exception to the area and they go above and beyond anyone else in this industry. If they don't have something, they will get it- and can get it fresh off the boat locally or regionally. There are several local businesses that really make this area unique and a good place to live. This is one of them. If you are wondering if this is worth trying- it is.

So blah blah blah, seafood, blah maryland, etc. Captain's Ketch has great seafood. OK, so does a lot of places on the shore. But they have great service, and fantastic cranberry blue cheese salad. You can go there to get something special, or just a regular meal. Spinach soufflé, ✅. Crab cake, ✅ . Sauces, ✅
