My wife and I were on our way to check into our inn in St. Michaels when we stopped for lunch in Easton. We chose Legal Assets and had a great lunch. Our servers were friendly, professional and welcoming and we also had a fun conversation with the owner. Instead of ordering one entree each we wanted to sample multiple menu items. We chose the French onion soup and the crab chowder which was the soup of the day. Both were two of the best soups that we have had anywhere. We also shared the shrimp scampi pizza/flatbread and a crab stuffed poblano pepper. Each was very good. Legal Assets has a full bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely give them a try.

What an amazing dining experience. Everything from the food and the service was first class. We were first greeted by our server, Shane. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The onion soup was delicious and I’ve been to France many times. This was a contender for sure. The lobster and scallop risotto was to die for. Fresh ingredients and seasonings. A truly wonderful dish. My wife had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. My only regret is that I haven’t tried this place sooner. I will definitely be back.

It was our 42nd anniversary. After a drenching rain while shopping in St. Michaels and trouble finding reservations close to our Easton hotel, Legal Assets let us sit at the bar. Lily was our friendly waitress who changed the tide and made our anniversary evening special. Of course the chef had a big part of it too. Our French onion soup was very delicious on a rainy night. The Caesar salad was good. But the New York Strip on a nest of delicious mashed potatoes with some seasonings from the steak in them was tender and flavorful. The blueberry and peach cobbler with whipped cream and ice cream were a perfect finish. Then, Lily surprised us with two flutes of champagne. Next trip we will shop downtown Easton and have dinner here again! Lily has tattoos and a nose ring but don’t let that deter your asking for her. She’s just perfect!

Met a friend here for dinner and as always the food and service were amazing. It just happened to be the night of the local Father Nash was the guest bartender. Needless to say that it was a little busy. Our server Marguerite never missed a beat throughout our meal. She was pleasant, attentive, but not overbearing. Excellent service! I had the spinach salad which was huge and so delicious. For my entree I had the appetizer stuffed poblano pepper and was delightfully pleased with the the combination of crab and cheese stuffed in the lightly tempura fried pepper and the corn relish served with it, to die for. The peach and blueberry cobbler was a pleasant finish to a wonderful meal. This is a great place for meeting at the end of the harried work day to unwind and have a fantastic meal.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to St. Michaels and had an exceptional meal. Our wonderful server, Pyper, made recommendations from the diverse menu. We shared the shrimp spring rolls with a seaweed salad that was so flavorful and satisfying. We also ordered the spinach salad with salmon and crab fried rice. Both were excellent as well. Portions are more than ample. Can’t wait to come back here again and again even though we’re 90 minutes away.

Excellent outdoor atmosphere. The staff was super helpful with my service animal and brought him a bowl of ice and another dog bowl so I could feed him. The wait staff put up with our high maintenance group of seven. The food was tremendous. The wine was not over priced and everything about the evening was great.

We went for lunch and wanted to sit outside, it was a beautiful day. .The two top tables were in the sun, I cannot sit in the sun. We asked to sit at a table that was a four top and they said they might be reserved and they saved them for four people. I understand that if they were busy but outside was totally empty except for two tables. She offered us the porch, we did sit there at a two top table. It is apparent that they don’t really care to keep customers happy -it was not busy. The hostess did come out later and offered to move us to the patio table- it was a little late. We were there about two hours, and the patio tables were empty!! Reservations??!! I must say they lack in customer service! The waitress was very nice but truly the whole experience made the day not pleasant. We almost left to go somewhere else. I will say the food we ordered was good - we asked for bread and was told it would be $.75 a roll, One would think bread would come with a $25 lunch! I’ve eaten there several times, and the food is good. I hope they bring the Customer Service level up to the quality of the food!

We decided at the last minute to grab lunch here. Luckily, we arrived early as it did fill up quickly. We certainly see why reservations are recommended. Restaurant is very nice and the food was delivered quickly and was good. Truffle fries are really a treat. Service was good, but a little slow on follow-up.

Yum! This is the best onion soup at a restaurant. It is rich and decadent without the ridiculous salt taste. Wonderful, well run place. So glad we ventured from St. Michaels to Easton. Excellent experience.

This is a very fun place to have a meal, a drink, meet friends or even a quieter meal. They have a fireplace room away from the bar area. Located in the heart of the most fabulous quaint town on E. shore of Maryland. The menu is very complete, the food fresh and well prepared. The chef and owners are seasoned restauranteurs and know what they’re doing And do it well! Service is excellent. It’s a homerun!

We have been eating chef Clark’s food for over twenty years. That’s right twenty years. Have never had a complaint with the food or service. It has been amazing to watch him change up the menu over the years. We had not been to his restaurant in a couple of years, been traveling.Tonight wife and I sat at the bar, with excellent service from our bartenders Kate and Lilly.Started with dry martini, excellent. We decided to split the calamari as appetizer. Very lightly battered, and tender.Wife ordered French Onion Soup and I ordered the French dip. Both were the best we have ever had. Don’t think you can find any better in the country, don’t care how upscale the restaurant . Wife had house salad and I had the Korean grilled caesar, both very good. Serving are very generous, care not to order too much. Last, I thought the pricing was very reasonable.

This restaurant is a go to place to meet up with friends. We always find staff pleasant and the food is good. They have a good variety of food. Week end evenings are very busy and very loud. I prefer to eat there mid week because of noise level.

We have been to legal assets about six times in the past six months. Every time the food has been delicious and obviously very inspired. The menu is basically American but has a fair amount of delightful fusion type dishes with an Asian flare. The presentation is always well thought out and the combination of ingredients ultimately produce wonderful taste treats. Many of the dishes are seasonal and should be taken advantage of. The softshell crab entrée was fantastic and a must when in season. Currently, the oyster bisque is a real taste treat. This is definitely a go to restaurant for a very satisfying meal in Easton.
