Terrible experience. Didn’t get our drinks until the food was half way done. We had to ask for them a second time. Apparently it’s okay to let other tables holler and beat on the table while doing 5 rounds of saki with other customers. Asked for rare steak. Got medium well. Waste of filet mignon. Will never go back to this location or the other one in gambrills.

The food and chef were good. Very entertaining which is the main appeal of eating in-house at a place like this. Little too much soy sauce (over salted rice and noodles) but great steak. The service was average - lousy greeting from a disheveled "host" who seemed like we were interrupting him from listening to whatever was playing on the earpod he was wearing. The other wait staff was fine. But the reason I wouldn't return is that the physical space is dirty, from the unkempt entryway to the really disgusting bathroom and the entire place needs a thorough cleaning. No one at the top seems to care about maintenance and simple cleanliness, which is worrisome at a food establishment - I can't even imagine what the kitchen looks like considering the front of the house. (Start by taking down and launder the soiled "curtain" to the bathrooms - remove whatever the broken thing duct taped to the wall in the women's room stall was, fix the toilet roll dispenser, clean up the sandy statue in the lobby and remove the trash from the sand . . . )Kid-friendliness: Chef caters to kids!

Okay, so I just left after waiting 15 minutes and not being served. When they finally came to take our order, we requested no butter in the prep of our food for medical reasons. They said they could prepare our food in the back, but we would still have to wait for others to be seated at our table since we only had three people in our party and they wanted to fill the hibachi table. We totally would have waited another 10-15 minutes if they would have accommodated our health-conscience request/ dietary restrictions for no butter on our food... this has never been an issue at Benihana or other hibachi restaurants, so I'm beyond confused and super annoyed. The staff was condescending and did not advise us upon being seated that we would have to wait for other potential walk-ins. We feel we were discriminated against due to ongoing medical issues which they refused to properly accommodate. I know the hibachi show is built into the price, but seriously, requesting they NOT use butter in the show is ridiculous! I was really looking forward to hibachi scallops and fried rice, but it looks like we're having Italian tonight! Customer service = 0 stars Management = 0 stars

Wonderful experience. We popped in for soup and sushi during lunch. Staff were all very polite and accommodating. The sushi chef made us a delicious million dollar roll along with some sort of special roll that was a nice surprise! We will visit again.

I took my grandbabies there, they had a ball. Especially the picky eater, she loved the food and entertainment. This place has a chill vibe, the people that works there are great. But the highlight goes to Mr. Chef. I forgot his name but he makes it worth the visit.Parking: Plenty of parking, you may have to walk a little.Kid-friendliness: The chef really focuses on and interacts with the kids.

Our group of 6 opted to leave the restaurant due to the excessive noise in the main dining/hibachi area. We couldn't hold a conversation. We didn't order a meal. They couldn't seat us elsewhere. I can't comment on the food.

I used to come here alot! After they remodeled the food changed. WAY too much garlic in the noodles, disgusting. The chicken in the hibachi entree meal was dry and bland. The miso soup had not a single piece of tofu in it. This place has gone downhill. Maybe the sushi is good? Not sure, i dont eat sushi. But the hibachi is sub par at best
